23.01.2022 With Covid 19 restrictions still in place, the event has been postponed. We have decided to hold the event in March 2021 to coincide with The Leukaemia Foundations Worlds Greatest Shave Campaign. The money that has already been donated is safe and will be carried forward to next year We hope you can still join us at Cafe Bell next March for this unique, inspiring event. 13.01.2022 My heart is full, my eyes are weeping, my mind can't work out how this happened, but it has, and it's AMAZING! It's more than I ever imagined (the original goal was $3,000) It's much needed funds for the kids, the Mums, the Grandads, the Best Friends, all those Loved Ones that are battling Blood Cancer. Ellenbrook, Aveley, The Vines, Guildford, Henley Brook....YOU ROCK!

12.01.2022 The donations keep rolling in. I am now in absolute awe of the amazing Team that achieved this.

11.01.2022 It is with an extremely heavy heart that I post this update. Due to the Covid 19 situation and the risk of spreading the virus to community members, we will have to indefinitely postpone our event which was due to take place on May 23rd. Unfortunately, at this stage, we cannot propose an alternative date due to the uncertainty as to when life will return to normal. It could be weeks , it could be months, before we can once again be able to socialise and be in close proximity ...to each other. We will endeavour to work out an alternative date when all volunteers are available and happy to go ahead with their shave. Please bear with us for now. These are certainly unchartered waters and we are all very disappointed and sad to have to postpone what was going to be an extraordinary event. Please keep yourselves and your friends and family safe during this uncertain and stressful time. We will post an update as soon as we can organise a new date. 08.01.2022 The Bald And The Beautiful of Ellenbrook team have raised an amazing $8,305 for The Leukaemia Foundation. I believe every single member is a hero for not only shaving and dyeing but for their magnificent fundraising efforts. The shave day was an emotional experience tinged with joy and sadness. If you would like to acknowledge this amazing team please nominate them for Hero(s) of the Month, sponsored by Ellenbrook Central and Ellenbrook Community Collective.
