18.01.2022 A little bit of house keeping today. A customer had this computer for a few years. Not an overly dirty environment (computer was located in an office), but enough to clog up the airflow. After a clean out, it's good to go again for a while.

16.01.2022 BEWARE: There is currently a campaign underway to trick you into downloading ransomware (Viruses) onto your computer! The method they use is by creating an email that looks very similar to the websites people use daily. They will go a step further by making the emails look extremely similar to the emails you receive from the same company!... They will typically include a link on the email which leads you to a web page designed to download a virus onto your computer. Or, they will include a fake ‘Invoice’ pdf file which, when downloaded, will infect your computer. If you receive an email that looks highly suspicious, delete it immediately. If you have been infected and the virus is asking you to pay a ransom, never pay the ransom! There is no guarantee that you will receive the files on your computer back, and there is no guarantee that you won’t be vulnerable to further attacks. Make sure that you have a recovery system in place so that if you accidently infect yourself, you have a way to recover lost data.
