25.01.2022 What a spectacular time of the year to take a break with rural Victoria turning on a magnificent display and superb weather. Travel restrictions are no longer in place and we are all free to explore our beautiful state from end to end. Welcome back to our Melbourne guests. Treat yourself to a well-earned break and get out on the open road to a change of scenery....:)

15.01.2022 Our guests are still enjoying a break away in complete isolation away from the world. Woodlands are implementing COVID-safe protocols to protect guests and staff alike, with our remote check-ins and check-outs proving a hit, even though we miss the opportunity to greet you face to face at reception and welcome you personally as we usually do. In uncertain times, let's all be safe. We hope to welcome you soon too...

10.01.2022 We again find ourselves slowly recovering from another wave and whilst our guests in Metro Melbourne are still under Stage 4, Regional Victoria will go to Step 3 within Stage 3 restrictions, allowing unlimited travel within regional Victoria. With this, Woodlands will be opening our doors to all of our regional guests as of 30th September 2020. If you're regional and would like some refreshing time away from home turf, head over to our website bookings page and plan your esca...pe. For our Melbourne guests, we know you still have a short while longer under the current restrictions but we cant wait to welcome you all back again too. 07.01.2022 We heard the feedback from our guests and we listened. Woodlands now offers two new longer stay packages with attractive rates to match :) Our Getaway Escape is a 7-day package - perfect when two or three nights just isn't enough to fully wind down. And our 14-day Getaway Writers Package will afford you even more time to complete that best-seller or other work in progress in the quiet sanctuary of a secluded luxury forest cottage.

07.01.2022 Just when the region was beginning to enjoy the lovely Spring weather and the spectacular show of blossoms and blooms, along comes a cold burst bringing back memories of our August snow dump. Trying to predict the unpredictable is predictably impossible in our neck of the woods but simply adds to the Spring-time charm! We cant wait to welcome our guests back soon :)

06.01.2022 Word is out in the Rainforest that restrictions are lifted. Cue a Blue tongue lizard on the reception red carpet, a pair of King parrots patiently awaiting their turn to check in on a nearby branch as well as the Duck brigade on parade.
