10.01.2022 Hello all, If you don't currently intend on coming to the trivia night, please give me the opportunity to change your mind. Young Life is an organisation of Christian people dedicated to sharing Jesus with youth in the community while developing lasting relationships with them. Regardless of anyone's response to the gospel, we continue to serve youth through resilience programs, school breakfasts, mentoring opportunities, camps and other after school activities. We want to b...e a blessing as ambassadors for Christ in the lives of all young people. Here in the Redlands we have a growing number of volunteers and supporters acting as a light in the lives of young people who know nothing about Jesus. By the grace of God, we are seeing many teenagers develop a reverence for Christ and are connecting to local churches. But we need more support to see this ministry grow from a small sphere of influence to a larger one. While the trivia night is a fundraiser, it is also our opportunity to share this vision with other Christian believers. Our prayer is that you will catch this vision and see Young Life as an effective conduit through which you can be involved in Christian youth ministry. We are trying to tackle the issue of a culture that is forgetting Christ. It is a big problem and we are a tiny team. But each of our Christian volunteers and financial supporters understand that God does His best work in the weakest of people. All He wants from us is to show a little faith and obedience by showing up. God always takes care of the rest. A big thank you to those who have said they are coming on Saturday September 7th. However we need more signing up to confirm numbers. 09.01.2022 As the school year wraps up, so does another year of our resilience training at Alexandra Hills State High School. A massive thank you to Debbie Wullschleger from Empower Lab for facilitating the classes this year. Debbie has been helping teenage girls learn the tools they need to be successful in their relationships, work lives, and emotional lives. We also thank the Redland City Council for funding this program and supporting the young people of the Redlands community.

01.01.2022 It's been a great year for Young Life Redlands! We just completed two terms delivering resilience training for students at Alex Hills State High School. We presented several graduation certificates of the Friends Resilience Program to students last week which was a joy for all students, teachers, parents and Young Life supporters involved. QUT (Queensland University of Technology) has recognised our work in the community by awarding us with a grant from their Staff Community Welfare Fund. We thank QUT for their support by ensuring we can continue the program in the new year.
