25.01.2022 In these uncertain times, normality is very important to fend off anxiety, especially for children. Attending a weekly music lesson, if possible, is a great way to achieve this. However, we understand that due to some families situation, quarantine or self-quarantine is inevitable. We have had a number of enquiries regarding the possibility of Skype lessons for situations when it is not possible for students to make it in person. This is something we have offered for some ti...me to students at a distance, but we are happy to announce this will now be available to students who can't make it to their regularly scheduled lesson. If this is something which is of interest to you, please let us know and we'd be happy to discuss with you in more detail how we may be able to help. Stay safe, take care, and be kind to yourselves and others. Evan & Erica You Can Play P.S. Don't let lack of technical prowess stop you, we'll walk you through the whole process if need be.

24.01.2022 As the situation with respect to COVID-19 continues to evolve, the health and safety of our community students, teachers and staff alike remains our highest priority. We are closely monitoring developments and will continue to be guided by the advice and directives of the Australian Government. We will take appropriate steps to protect our community when and as needed, and will keep you updated. Until directed otherwise, our school will continue to operate as usual with t...he following added precautions: Please let us know asap if you are unwell and unable to attend. We can arrange a catch up lesson or credit. Shared instruments such as keyboards and amplifiers will be wiped with antibacterial wipes between users. Anti-bacterial hand-wash will be provided for people to wash their hands when entering and leaving the building. Our usual toilet and bathroom facilities will be unavailable for public use due to the risk of passing on bugs. Tissues will be provided in all teaching rooms as well as bins for easy disposal. We understand that this may be an unsettling period for members of our community. Music can play an important role in these uncertain times, offering comfort, calm and a sense of connection. If there is anything we can do to support you or if you have any questions, please dont hesitate to contact us. Stay safe, take care, and be kind to yourselves and others. Evan & Erica You Can Play

02.01.2022 For those who don't know who Chris Soole is he is a legendary musician in Adelaide and has influenced, taught and inspired many people with his playing. He needs our help as he is critically ill in hospital and as a result can't work which has lead to financial pressure. A wide group of Adelaide's best muso's are volunteering their time and expertise to put on a show that will raise funds for Chris' situation. Come and help us support Chris. Stay for a short while or the whole event, either way Chris and the wider Adelaide music community would greatly appreciate your support!
