Communify are looking for great, reliable drivers in the New Farm, Paddington, Ashgrove, Bardon or The Gap areas to help people who are too frail or unwell to transport themselves to medical appointments, shopping or social activities. Your commitment could be as little as a couple of hours a week or you may be able to offer a full day. Most of the community transport drivers will use their fully insured vehicles for the transport trip...s. This is a great way to get out and about while helping people in your community on a flexible basis that suits your schedule!!! 09.01.2022 Happening now: 27-year-old Clinton Pryor has taken the final steps of his incredible walk from Perth to Parliament House in Canberra where he hopes to meet with Malcy-T to discuss aboriginal rights. The 6000-kilometre journey across the country was to protest the forced closure of Aboriginal communities in the west. Pryor has taken seven million steps and gone through eight pairs of shoes, after leaving on September 8 last year. Several aboriginal communities met with Pryor as he passed through, sharing stories of their tragedy, humour, and hope that he will take to various federal politicians to raise awareness of aboriginal issues.
