25.01.2022 ZBC Update: We are well into our second season of Glamourous Camping (Glamping) and everything is running beyond expectations for both us and our guests. From what we can tell, we now hold the top spot of all West Coast accommodation listings on booking . com with our glamping rated a solid 9.6 out of 10! We have attached some screen captures from booking . com and Airbnb review sections. Thankyou to our loyal followers and guests, we will be working hard to maintain this service and its reputation .

25.01.2022 In line with Government requirements all upcoming bookings are cancelled and no further bookings will be taken (with the exception of workers). We look forward to seeing you all when this is all over. Take care everyone!

24.01.2022 Another beautiful clear morning here on the west side. This winter so far has been the best weather since we got here 5 years ago.. every other year has been relentless rain.

23.01.2022 Due to COVID-19 we have decided to close the Glamping and Camping services as of Monday the 23rd for the remainder of the season. Cabins will remain open as these are fully self contained. As you are aware our Glamping and Camping guest have shared toilet and kitchen facilities, due to the current situation with regards to COVID 19 we feel we are unable to ensure a safe and healthy environment. In addition our office is also part of our home and you will appreciate that the ...health and well-being of our children is paramount to us. For these reasons we have made the difficult decision to close the Glamping and camping aspect of our business for the remainder of the season. At this stage we plan on reopening Glamping and camping services as per normal in November. Of course we are working through contacting all bookings and a full refund will be provided. Thanks for your understanding.

22.01.2022 Less than a week until we open glamping for the season. Everything is looking fantastic, with only a few more things left on the to do list.

22.01.2022 Our campground will be closing early Sunday (18th), Glamping closes on the 30th as normal. Cabins remain open year round. Our campground will be closing early Sunday (18th), Glamping closes on the 30th as normal. Cabins remain open year round.

21.01.2022 We remain open seven days a week, from 10am to 6.30pm with our local staff here to help with your queries. Where possible please make contact via telephone and email as we work to minimise coronavirus exposure risk.

21.01.2022 West Coast Wilderness Rail to close from tomorrow also. See attached.

21.01.2022 Its now well passed the 1/2 way mark for this season, so how has our new direction as a tent based campground worked out? I cant actually find a word to say how happy we are. Elated and ecstatic are two words that come to mind. Feedback and reviews have been far better than we expected, some of which we have shared on this post from our various booking and review platforms. The reason we didnt expect such overwhelmingly positive reviews is we only completed the minimums o...n our park conversion plan. Those who have followed us for awhile would know we had a rough winter trying to get everything done with one a broken leg taking a good 2 months out of the already narrow 6 month conversion timeline. So this winter we will continue with many more improvements to come. Thank you to those who did support our transition away from caravan and RV services to specialising in tent camping. To the sceptics and those who knocked us down, there is no need to say anything as our guest reviews say it all :) BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN FOR 20/21 Season!

20.01.2022 With Covid-19 restrictions easing we have received a handful of calls about accommodation. Please be aware that we are not able to accommodate anyone other than workers until the 15th of June when restrictions on accommodation providers are planned to be lifted.

20.01.2022 Something you dont see every day, snow on the ground in Zeehan. Actually for us in the 5 years we have been here this is the most we have seen on the ground. Still plenty falling all over the state, take care on the roads.

20.01.2022 Happy Easter! Hopefully we will see you all next year but for this year.........

20.01.2022 The message is clear and the penalties severe. We have announced nation leading border restrictions for Tasmania. Everyone coming into Tasmania will now be required to self-isolate for 14 days, including domestic travellers from mainland Australia and those travelling from overseas.

19.01.2022 Camping and Glamping services are now CLOSED until further notice.Camping and Glamping services are now CLOSED until further notice.

19.01.2022 With the border closed to greater Brisbane we have had a few cancelations come through for Glamping and cabins. So if you missed out earlier and are still looking for somewhere are little different to stay during the Easter holiday period, jump on our site and have a look. www.zeehanbushcamp.com.au

16.01.2022 West Coast Heritage Centre Closed from this Saturday. See attached notification.

16.01.2022 Us in shutdown mode :( .... but we will be back once this is all over! thats for sure. stay safe everyone.

15.01.2022 Selling our work car.. Tax invoice will be provided for businesses to claim gst.

15.01.2022 Please be aware we do not allow late check-ins for Glamping and Camping. We have had a number of recent late arrivals of campers who have not booked and have just helped themselves. This has disturbed other guests of the park which have resulted in complaints. Helping yourself to a camping spot in our park is unacceptable. Our office is open from 9.30am to 8.30pm- if you are wanting to camp with us please call to book and ensure you are able to arrive & be setup before office close. NB: to the lovely bicycle riders who were disturbed last night and unhappily left our park before we could explain that the people who disturbed them were not "allowed in by us" - we are sorry that your stay was ruined by the arrival of this group who had not contacted us at all.

14.01.2022 Collection of photos about camping and glamping

13.01.2022 Bittersweet at the moment since we are in a state of forced shutdown. Nonetheless we are happy to report we have just achieved the sought-after status of super host on Air BNB for our glamping. !

12.01.2022 Roll on the last month of the season! As usual at the end of April we will be shutting down the camping and Glamping area for the winter months (cabins operate year round). This will also see the end of the "caravan park covid encore". When we reopen these sites will be used for some exciting new services! So, what are these new services? Well, we will be using 2 sites for destination charging of electric vehicles which will be available free of charge to guests staying in G...lamping or Cabin accommodation services Another two sites will be used for the re-introduction of brand-new onsite caravans that actually look more like a cabin once expanded. Lastly due to the popularity of our family Glamping tents we will be adding another Family Glamping tent to our park. In the meantime, there is still one month to go so why not book now and get in before our winter break?

10.01.2022 Powered Caravan and RV sites reestablished. We have re-established 6 powered sites in our park. We did have plans of investing in 2 to 3 proper 2 bedroom cabins to put on these site, however these plans are now on hold thanks largely to COVID-19s financial impacts. We have decided to reopen them to caravan and RVs for the time being. Please also note there are no Un-powered options for caravans or RVs. Bookings can be made via our web site (click the Book Now button on ou...r FB page) or by calling (03) 6471 6633. For those who love our Glamping and Tent/canvas only camp areas. The re-enabled caravan and RV sites are well away from both of these areas and will have no impact on the atmospheric feel of either area. We look forward to seeing you all on your next West Coast Adventure.

07.01.2022 Nice to have some good weather for tent washing and pack down. Once washed, treated and dried the tents and furniture spend winter in a dehumidified / warmed sea container ready to be set up again in October for a November re opening. It's a lot of work but it's all part of maintaining clean & mould free tents in our often wet West Coast.

07.01.2022 It is really great to see lots of campers out and about. We only have a limited number of BYO sites so please make sure you call in advance to see if we have availability- this will avoid disappointment. Thank you and enjoy your travels!!

05.01.2022 Thanks Kathryn, We are glad you enjoyed your stay.

05.01.2022 For our 4x4 followers , Climies Track is one of our favourites having done it a few times myself (Clayton). The West Coast in our opinion has some of the best tracks in Austraila! so come explore the #westernwilds Video credit to Lapping The Island.
