24.01.2022 THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS CHALLENGE We invite children and their parents to join the Pioneer Challenge during the holidays, hunting for, and learning about, the Sta...te’s Pioneers in family teams along Route 120. It’s fun for all the family and is also in aid of the renovation of the King Edward Memorial Hospital Rose Garden for the bereaved families of still-born children. The cost per vehicle is $60 towards the Rose Garden. 02.01.2022 We set off on our Pioneer Challenge on route 120 today with Dave and Merran. We were randomly allocated the towns of Katanning, Broomehill and Cranbrook. We had to find three pioneers and their graves in each town. So interesting to visit these towns and learn some of the histories of these pioneers. Some sad stories of how they died. We visited places we would have never visited ever but was so surprised how beautiful they are.
