21.01.2022 UK Heritage Railways Tour A few weeks ago we had to cancel the tour for 2020 and informed all the passengers booked onto the tour accordingly. At present we are working on the same approximate dates in 2021 and at the request of passengers trying to add in a rest day or two.... To add in extra days is very complex as not all railways we visit operate 7 days a week so we have to make sure when are due to visit the railway will be operating. At present no one knows what will happen to all the railways and if they will still be operating in 2021 so the new itinerary will be based on 2020 operating days - and fingers crossed ! Already for 2021 we are receiving requests to be put onto the list for travelling on the tour. The tour will have a maximum of 30 passengers and once we know the final price we will then ask for a deposit and we will work from the list in the order that the requests to join the tour were received. Yes we will be using Harry Shaw Ltd for our coaches and yes we have requested Paul as the driver !! So if you would like to join the list for the 2021 tour please email us at [email protected] and lets hope we can travel in 2021. Keep safe and the Heritage Railway magazine is now available 'on line' giving all the latest news on the UK heritage railways scene. Ken [email protected]

10.01.2022 The Dartmouth Steam Railway at Kingswear Station with GWR loco moving to join onto the old Devon Belle observation car and to take the train back to Paignton.

09.01.2022 A wonderful view across the River Dee to Llangollen Station on the Llangollen Railway In it’s heyday this line would carry the holiday express trains from Manchester and Liverpool via Chester to Ruabon on the Shrewsbury line and then down the very scenic River Dee Valley via Llangollen, Corwen,Barmouth and the Cambrian Coast resorts to Pwllheli. Good luck pronouncing all those names after a few gin & tonics!

03.01.2022 Welcome to Railway Tours Worldwide. Stay tuned for more information about our British Heritage Railway journey in July 2020
