25.01.2022 Day 4 of the countdown my hometown Oakey has been my home for 18years and it always will be. Growing up in Oakey has made me who I am today, having a lovely community that supports everyone in everything. Oakey is known for the Bernborough race horse, museum of the Australian Army flying, historical museum. It’s a small Queensland country town with lots of love #MrsAustraliaIntl #MsAustraliaIntl... #MissAustraliaIntl #MissTeenAustraliaIntl #IntlPageantsAuAmbassador #IntlPageantsAU #byferial #LookSmartalteration #TerrenceJamesPhotography #MarziaNuttal #MissIntl2020 #MissTeenIntl2020 #2020IntlCountdown See more
25.01.2022 Yesterday was National Sorry Day, acknowledges and raises awareness of the history and continued effect of the forced removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from their families, communities and culture. Known as The Stolen Generations This day gives people the chance to come together and share the steps towards healing for the Stolen Generations, their families and communities May 27th is the start of The National Reconciliation Week which celebrates and builds on the respectful relationships shared by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other Australians. The is my culture and I couldn’t be more proud to be Aboriginal and how I embrace it in my future.

21.01.2022 9 years ago yesterday I lost my Aunty due to domestic violence. On this day my whole world changed! My heart got broken, I lost my best friend. Domestic violence is a cruel thing that happens everyday in this world. We can make a difference and help people who are in need. #saynotoviolence
19.01.2022 Day 6- All about my platform DOMESTIC VIOLENCE What is Domestic Violence? It is violence or other abuse in a domestic setting, such as in marriage or cohabitation. Domestic violence is often used as a synonym for intimate partner violence, which is committed by a spouse or partner in an intimate relationship against the other spouse or partner, and can take place in heterosexual or same-sex relationships, or between former spouses or partners. In its broadest sense, domest...ic violence also involves violence against children, parents, or the elderly. It takes a number of forms, including physical, verbal, emotional, economic, religious, reproductive, and sexual abuse. Just a few statistics -2.2 million Australians have experienced physical or sexual violence from a current or previous partner. -On average, one woman a week is murdered by her current or former partner. -1 in 5 Australian women (18.4%) has experienced sexual violence since the age of 15. Domestic violence has broken my family hearts, it’s not something any family should experience! I want to help anyone and everyone who is or has experienced this. Letting them know that they are not alone and they can get help if they reach out before it’s too late. I want people to understand how this affects people’s life’s. My main Focus is helping people with violence and trying to prevent it in any possible way. #MrsAustraliaIntl #MsAustraliaIntl #MissAustraliaIntl #MissTeenAustraliaIntl #IntlPageantsAuAmbassador #IntlPageantsAU #byferial #LookSmartalteration #TerrenceJamesPhotography #MarziaNuttal #MissIntl2020 #MissTeenIntl2020 #2020IntlCountdown

09.01.2022 Day one of the countdown until the crowning in Tennessee! Even though I won’t be making it to the state this year I’ll still get involved in the Miss,Miss teen activities Day 1: CADID photo and BIOGRAPHY My name is Adelayde McKellar and I am delighted to be your Miss Teen Australia International for 2020. I am 18 years old, born and raised in a small country town Oakey, Queensland. I joined the pageant in 2019 after discovering how it differs from the other pageants. The I...nternational Australia is a pageant that encourages your inner beauty and to wear your heart on your sleeve. But most importantly it provides a platform for all involved to spread awareness, raise funds, campaign for and support a community organisation that is very close to your heart. I am very passionate about my community and district, being actively involved in many endeavours, trying my hardest to be an inspirational role model for other Aboriginal youths. I also aim to encourage all young women to show passion for what they believe in and to know their worth, have pride in themselves and their community. I started my school-based apprenticeship in Hairdressing, while in Grade nine. This led me to be a successful QATSIF participant and placed in the top three Queensland Training Awards darling down south west regional. I graduated high school in 2018. I have continued completing my certificate III in hairdressing with only 3/4 months left to go. I have an older sister with a daughter and son and I have a twin brother, and many cousins, Auntys and uncles that I love and cherish they support. My platform is very close to my heart and family as I lost my Aunty through a Domestic Violence situation. I am campaigning and spreading awareness to #sayno to any and all violence. I am very passionate about making a difference and believe every family should be free from violence. Thankyou! Stay tuned for the upcoming days #MrsAustraliaIntl #MsAustraliaIntl #MissAustraliaIntl #MissTeenAustraliaIntl #IntlPageantsAuAmbassador #IntlPageantsAU #byferial #LookSmartalteration #TerrenceJamesPhotography #MarziaNuttal #MissIntl2020 #MissTeenIntl2020 #2020IntlCountdown
