21.01.2022 An update from Barambah Farms It has certainly been a hectic time for our farming teams, and for Ian. Managing properties from the East Coast of NSW to the Border Rivers Region of QLD/NSW has been challenging. Ian oversees 13,805 acres in total, which is 5,587 hectares. This includes our grain growing place, near Toobeah. Barambah Farms is broadacre, in order to support the 900 approx. cows we have across the three organic dairy herds. ... Being an organic grass-fed operation requires a substantial amount of broadacre, and high quality country, and we also have to operate in tick free areas. Cattle ticks are prevalent along most of the QLD coast, in Northern NSW, and throughout inland regions. Farming organically is certainly a challenge, as we can not routinely spray our cows, nor would we want to. We can all taste the quality of the organic grass fed milk, it is nutty and herbaceous. Thank you to the three Barambah Farming Teams, you are exceptional, every day!

Dairy fat has received a bad rap for many years, basically because of the homogenization process. This process alters the way that fat is processed in the stomach and how much of it is absorbed into the blood stream.
