19.01.2022 Outback Way is a 2,700 kilometre iconic route from Laverton in WA to Winton in QLD via Alice Springs often referred to as ‘Australia’s Longest Shortcut’. Work is moving along nicely to upgrade the road, with earthworks now complete for the first section, and subgrade works 70 per cent complete. Learn more about the upgrade on our website.
