23.01.2022 We’re back! Our long-awaited return is finally here, and we can’t wait to see everyone! Tomorrow, we will be officially reopening our club doors and we’d love for you to join us. A lot has changed this year for many of us, but we've remained resilient, continuing to listen and improve. And as we open our doors, wewill be ready to give you the best 12RND experience yet!... WHAT’SNEW? The Same 12RND You Love You may notice some slight changes throughout the club to prioritise hygiene, cleanliness, and social distancing. This will include hand sanitiser, and cleaning products to sanitise equipment after use, during your 30 second rest. The great thing about 12RND is that our rounds also provide a sufficient space for social distancing allowing to workout safely. A Few New Features We have been keeping busy in our downtime, and amongst other new initiatives, we have some new equipment ready for you when you come back. Although a strange time for us all, we have taken advantage of the opportunity to continue improving our club environment, and giving you the best possible experience each time you come in to train. Our Covid-SafePlan Details Although restrictions have eased, we will remain diligent as ever to maintain the utmost hygiene and cleanliness standards, and adhere to social distancing to keep you, and our communitysafe. Our club’s Covid-SafePlan has been designed as per our Victoria State regulations, with further additions to provide you with a clean andsafeenvironment to train, it includes: A maximum of 10 people will be allowed in the club at one time (excluding coaches) Social distancing of 1.5m between members will be maintained by allowing only 1 person per round unless from the same household Some hard to clean equipment will be unavailable during workouts e.g Sandbags Cleaning / sanitising products will be available to clean equipment after use You must use your own boxing gloves (No club gloves will be available) Fist pumps and handshakes will be prohibited, & our coaches will be wearing PPE masks during each session. Establishing a bedtime routine will help you to RECOVER and recharge your body's battery, ensuring that you are ready to return to your next workout in a rested state, and be able to function at your peak. This week, aim to get 7-8 hours sleep every night. At the end of the day, we recommend that you minimise any activities that can interfere with a good night’s... sleep. It may be worthwhile for you to set up a sleeping ‘game plan’, such as: not drinking caffeine after midday, or turning off electronics one hour before bed. 19.01.2022 We are very grateful to be back in business after 3+ months of closure and Its been good to see some familiar faces over the past two weeks. Furthermore, we are very thankful to those fantastic members that have come back to support us! Member & staff health and safety must take priority for the time being. We are closely monitoring the situation occurring in other Melbourne suburbs. On that topic we ask you to please avoid these areas if you wish to continue to train in the... club. If you need to enter these suburbs for whatever reason, we ask that you please advise us. Well be happy to place your membership on free suspension or defer your free trial to a later date. Everyone is doing a fantastic job of cleaning the equipment after use. The fact we are using over 2000 wipes a week is a testament! We ensure Social Spacing and maximum members in club are adhered to. Again, thanks for your ongoing support as we work hard to return to normality.

07.01.2022 Here's what Sumi has to say about 12RND Ashburton.. what a legend she is too, so consistent with her training and a pleasure to have in the gym ! I’ve been training at 12RND Ashburton for over 3 years. What I love most about the place is the sound of boxing gloves hitting the pads used by trainers as you walk in, which immediately gets me in the mood to work out. I love that each session is well thought out and I get a balanced work out each time I train. The program is de...signed to train you in different ways in 2 week phases ie strength one phase, power and endurance the next etc... Each workout challenges me and I always end up puffed, sweaty and very energized for the rest of the day. The trainers are amazing. Not only do they constantly correct your technique and push you to do more, but they also manage to throw on the boxing pads to give those aspiring boxers a taste of the ring. My body has changed so much in the last 3 years. My kids are disappointed that I’m not soft and squishy anymore, but are proud that I’m a fit, strong Mum. Many of us are local, so it feels like home. I train 4 mornings a week so I see familiar smiling faces. It has become part of my routine. Give it a try, stick with it, train hard and you won’t regret it! Sumitra #strongwomen #fitmum
