16.01.2022 A CHALLENGE LIKE NO OTHER Do you have what it takes to complete the first official "TOUR DE 12RND" This special challenge has been devised between 12RND Fitness (Buderim), 12RND Fitness (Mooloolaba) and 12RND Fitness (Sippy Downs) and will take place every 3 months. ... 3 options; 1) "The Body Shot" - 9km Start at Sippy Downs for a functional workout (not a normal 12RND workout) and then run/walk/ride to Mooloolaba for another workout in the carpark. 2) "The Haymaker" - 18km Start at Mooloolaba for a workout, run/walk/ride to Sippy for another workout, then back to Mooloolaba. 3) "The TKO" - 24km Start from Mooloolaba, head to Sippy, then to BUDERIM!!! and back to Mooloolaba. The mobile phone is often one of the first items to be thrown, broken or stolen during domestic violence (DV), leaving the victim cut off from the outside world, with no way to call emergency services or helplines for assistance. "I have launched a campaign called DV Safe Phone (www.dvsafephone.com.au), to get unused mobile phones out of people’s ‘bottom drawers’ and into the hands of victims of domestic violence." (Ashton Wood) Our campaign is aimed at collecting working phones, testing the phones for functionality, ensuring that all user data has been erased and redistributing working mobile phones to victims of domestic violence, through registered not-for-profit charity Red Rose Foundation, who have existing relationships with domestic violence safe houses, crisis centres and volunteers Australia-wide.
