We believe it is essential to do our part to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19 and would like to share what we are doing to keep everyone safe. We are currently operating under the guidance for the Australian Government and the World Health Organisation and their recommendations for minimizing the spread of ...the virus. Whilst we have always taken pride in providing clean hire vehicles to our customers, we have now also implemented additional sanitizing/cleaning and stand downtime for our vehicles. 1300Truckhire will remain open and will continue to monitor the situation closely. As circumstances develop, we will act quickly on the advice of health authorities. Please see below new procedures implemented by 1300Truckhire Cairns for the safety of our customers, team members, and community. 1. Reservations can be made online at www.1300truckhire.com.au or by calling 07 4032 3448. 2. All paperwork and payments will be required to be made via email, online booking or by phone. All paperwork must be completed in order for us to hire a vehicle. 3. Instructions of how to use the truck will be sent to you via email instead of our team showing you on the day of hire. Questions can be sent to [email protected] or call 4032 3448. 4. After your hire the truck it MUST be parked in the designated area in order for it to not be opened/used for 12 hours. 5. After the stand downtime, the truck will be disinfected by our team who will be following the hygiene implementations recommend by the Australian Government and World Health Organisation. What to expect when you arrive at 1300Truckhire Cairns: 1. Please maintain social distancing of 1.5m as recommended by the Government and Health Organisation. 2. Upon the arrival of the office please wait in the designated waiting area or outside if a customer is already there. 3. If you have been unable to electrically sign your contact this can be done upon arrival. 4. Your hire vehicle will be brought out the front for your collection. 5. A video of how the truck /lifter/ramp works will be sent to you before your hire time. However, If you require additional instructions on the truck a staff member will provide a demonstration. Please maintain 1.5m social distancing during this demonstration. 6. On return of the vehicle please place the keys in the dropbox (located at the back of the building) and park in the designated area.
