17.01.2022 Researchers at the NAL are looking for children aged 3 to 3 , with normal hearing and no developmental concerns, to take part in a study measuring their language development. This information will help us build knowledge of language development of children with and without one-sided (unilateral) hearing loss. You and your child will be asked to attend 1-2 appointments (approximately 2 hours total) at a place convenient for you, to complete a hearing screen and a language ass...essment. You as the parent or caregiver will be asked to complete a questionnaire at the appointment/s. You will receive a summary of your child’s results. Please contact Emi in Sydney [email protected] or Cara in Brisbane [email protected] for more information or to take part in the study. A phone interview will be completed prior to your joining the study, to determine your child’s eligibility.
