24.01.2022 Aquatics If your son/daughter is going to aquatics tomorrow could you please pack another set of clothes. We may need to come back to school early if the weather gets windy and students may like to change out of wet clothes. Thanks.

12.01.2022 Dear Parents/Guardians, As you may be aware there are several staff leaving at the end of the year.... It saddens me to announce that I will also be leaving the Riverland Special School this year, as I have been appointed as Principal of Glossop Primary Community School for Terms 1 and 2 of 2021. I have loved every moment of working at the Riverland Special School and will miss all staff, students and families within this tight knit school community immensely. Since I started my journey with the RSS in 2015, I have had the privilege of working directly in the classroom with some amazing young people. I have valued the opportunity to connect with each student and their families on a personal level. I look forward to hearing about each and every student’s achievements as I will continue to have regular contact with the school in 2021. 08.01.2022 Riverland Special School Christmas Raffle reminder. Raffle books available from the front office. Please consider supporting our school by selling or purchasing some tickets. Tickets are $1 each. If you already have a book(s) please return all sold and unsold raffle books to the school by Wednesday 9th December. The raffle will be drawn on Thursday 10th December. 08.01.2022 More futsal fun today. The students' skills are certainly improving and the smiles say it all. Keep up the good work everyone! Futsal stars of the future!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to Jess for running the sessions. Thanks to the staff who support the students and the programme. A team effort.

05.01.2022 The Student Leaders held a clothing drive for St Vinnie's recently and delivered the huge supply of clothes and accessories to the Barmera store last Thursday. Thank you to everyone who supported this student led initiative. It was a huge success. The ladies sorting the clothes couldn't believe how many bags of items they were receiving. They had thought they were making some progress with their work, until we arrived. Well done to all of the Student Leaders!
