20.01.2022 Don't forget that eco food wraps make the perfect gift this Christmas for your earth conscious friends and family. . I also do beautiful vegan lipsticks, gloss and cream blush at @eco_pout_australia which can all be found with @ecothreeleaf wraps on the website www.theecoartisan.com.au .... Just a reminder if you haven't used wax wraps before to read the care instructions before you start so you get the full benefit and longevity out of them . Whilst exposure to a little warmth from your hands or a dish is ok, they will not survive any contact with high heat and will melt if they come into contact with hot water, hot dishes, sat in direct Aussie scorching sunlight, microwave, dishwashers or irons. . Now how good do these vegan quesadillas look..get in my belly pronto See more

18.01.2022 Wrapped, packed, stacked and ready to roll tomorrow on a mission round trip to Glen Innes and back again. It'll be a plastic free, non waste, reusable wrap kinda road trip from me as I eat on the go tomorrow. . Lunch won't be a problem as I've got my mini pitas on board and stuffed full of the BEST non meat I've tried yet. I was so excited when I came across this plant based alternative in Coles a few weeks back and now won't shut up about my discovery. .... If you don't eat meat but dry reach at the thought of tofu and tempeh then you HAVE to try @sunfedmeats as your new go to plant based meat replacer. It's a gamechanger for me. . Soy, gluten, palm oil FREE, high in protein and made with surprisingly uncomplicated clean ingredients such as yellow peas and pumpkin it get's all of the green thumbs up from me. . *I'm not paid for spruking this product, I simply LOVE the taste, texture and ethos behind the brand and wanted to share this little treasure with any likeminded folks* @ Brisbane, Queensland, Australia See more

18.01.2022 If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere. . A fallen petal is a fallen petal but to me it is a little piece of art, a gift, from the natural world to use in my world.

07.01.2022 Not wrap related but you may be interested in our wildlife and how you can help. Today I did a wildlife feed drop on behalf of the super heros over at The Rescue Collective, down to some incredible wildlife carers I had the humbling experience of meeting today in Glen Innes. Jan (on the right)is such an angel and together with her husband are caring around the clock for about 15 tiny joeys who were found alone in fire zones, some burnt, but all dehydrated, hungry and at risk ...of prey. The lovely Simone (on the left) from Ullara is also caring around the clock for tiny microbats. Learnt so much about what is involved with wildlife caring and it ain't no easy feat. Things are so tough already out in these parts with drought, people losing their homes to fire and also caring for the animals affected by the fires that went through here. The most humbling experience for a silly SUV driving city slicker like me. So welcoming, kind and amazing women both of them and the sacrifices they make to help others who can't help themselves is like something Ive never seen. Very grateful for the experience and to be able to help out. If you would like to donate so supplies can keep getting shipped out to these amazing people feeding these tiny babies please pop over to The Rescue Collective facebook page to find out how you can get involved.

06.01.2022 As a vet nurse I use a lot of plastic at work and I'm not mad. This plastic helps me save and improve pets' lives. . Plastic is an incredible material that has ...helped and progressed our society in hundreds of ways. It's easy to see how we have become obsessed with its use. . It saves human lives, it makes the lives of people with disabilities better, it saves food waste etc. . Plastic itself is not the problem. The problem is our overconsumption of unnecessary plastic as a single-use disposable (and our overconsumption in general). The problem is our plastic obsession and our disposable culture where we don't consider how much we're using and where what we use ends up. . We need to step back and see where it is necessary, taking things like health, disabilities, and food waste into account before making a blanket statement that all plastic is bad. . Another plastic that we shouldn't shun is plastic we already own and second hand plastic items. Use these until they're no longer usable and then replace them. . Maybe one day we'll invent something better that can replace all plastic but until then refuse all that you can refuse, keep using what you have, and use what you need to use. . #notallplastic #notallplasticisbad #plasticfree #zerowaste #progressnotperfection #plasticobsession #singleuse #singleuseplastic #disposableculture #consumerism #overconsumption See more
