25.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone! I hope that you will read my article today because today I would like to share with you the significance of Easter. Society will tell us Easter is about eggs and rabbits so I thought I would share what Easter means to me and millions of Christians around the world. In the Bible in 1 Peter 2:22 we are told that... ‘Jesus never sinned and He never told a lie.’ I know that everyone else in this world has sinned and I know I have sinned and I have told lies. Today I celebrate that Jesus, the Son of God, was the only person who ever lived who was sinless and died in my place to give me abundant and eternal life. He willingly took the sin of the whole world on himself. 1 Peter 2 verses 23, says, ‘People insulted Him, but he did not insult them back. He suffered, but he did not threaten anyone. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.’ Verse 24 ‘Christ Jesus carried our sins in his body on the cross. He did this so that we would stop living in sin (die to sins) and live for righteousness. By his wounds we have been healed.’ Verse 25 ‘You were like sheep that went the wrong way. But now you have come back to the Shepherd and Protector of your lives.’ I am full of gratitude and love for Jesus. He died for my sin and has set me free to live for him and to follow his example. He has given me abundant and eternal life. I celebrate today that my Lord Jesus Christ conquered sin and death and rose victorious from the grave. Thank you for reading my post!

15.01.2022 A post from Heather Johnson- Thank you! THE GREAT WORD ‘UP’! An amazing 2 letter English word.... A reminder that one word in the English language that can be a noun, verb, adjective, adverb and preposition. UP Read until the end ...You might laugh. This two-letter word in English has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that word is 'UP’. It is listed in the dictionary as an [adv.], [prep.], [adj.], [n] or [v]. It's easy to understand UP, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP? At a meeting, why does a topic come UP? Why do we speak UP, and why are the officers UP for election and why is it UP to the secretary to write UP a report? We call UP our friends, brighten UP a room, polish UP the silver, warm UP the leftovers and clean UP the kitchen. We lock UP the house and fix UP the old car. At other times, this little word has special meaning. People stir UP trouble, line UP for tickets, work UP an appetite, and think UP excuses. To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed UP is special. And this UP is confusing: A drain must be opened UP because it is stopped UP. We open UP a store in the morning but we close it UP at night. We seem to be pretty mixed UP about UP! To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of UP, look UP the word UP in the dictionary. In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes UP almost 1/4 of the page and can add UP to about thirty definitions. If you are UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP is used. It will take UP a lot of your time, but if you don't give UP, you may wind UP with a hundred or more. When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding UP. When the sun comes out, we say it is clearing UP. When it rains, the earth soaks it UP. When it does not rain for a while, things dry UP. One could go on and on, but I'll wrap it UP, for now . . . my time is UP! Oh . . . One more thing: What is the first thing you do in the morning and the last thing you do at night? U P ! Did that one crack you UP?

09.01.2022 Hi Friends, In this time of great difficulty, please be aware that you may get scams going around through social media. They are telling you false information. It is easy to check whether it is a scam by typing on the google page and asking the question. Eg is it true that helicopters are going to spray at 11.00pm? There will be an answer that will come up to say this is a scam. Please message me on this face book page if you are not sure or need to ask anything. May God ...bless you, Marilyn See more
