22.01.2022 Dr Shaden decided she wanted to be a doctor at age 10 after her grandfather suffered a heart attack in their village near Nazareth where there was no immediate medical treatment available. Today she leads the Emergency Medicine Department at Hadassah and has set her sights on expanding and improving the emergency room.

It’s not a dilemma any family would like to find themselves in, but it must be addressed. The solution, initiated by Hadassah Hospital, was simple: bring the celebration to the hospital! A side room near their daughter’s ward was converted to the event room for close family, with drinks and refreshments taken care of by volunteers....
