25.01.2022 Repost @nino_klapcic

25.01.2022 A message from one of our members: "Hey Guys! My Name is Georgia McKinnon and on Saturday the 19th of October at 3pm I will be cutting 35cm of my hair off and donating it to Variety the Children's Charity. Along with donating my hair I am trying to raise money; Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity,... you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. 13th Beach SLSC have been kind enough to allow me to hold the event at their club, the bar will be open and some food will be provided. I would love to see as many people there as I can, its for an awesome cause and there will also be some goodies at a silent auction that could be yours!! Below is a link to make donations, a little goes a long way, and it is for an awesome cause https://hairwithheart.everydayhero.com//donating-my-hair-t Thank you so much guys xx Love Georgia"

05.01.2022 Nearly 20 years ago a lot of hardworking members made a small club take a massive step towards the community and service we know today, with this in mind today 13th beach surf life saving club would like to announce that in the state budget today we received the remaining funds required to start our long awaited extension. The club would like to thank the Andrew's government for this commitment to our club and to all who have helped on the journey so far.

04.01.2022 Quick video of racing on Saturday at warrnambool

04.01.2022 Racing at lorne today got a bit dark and stormy but 13tb beach came out on top today well done to our team

04.01.2022 Phenomenal effort from our team at this years IRB Victorian Championships! The team came away with 3 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals, placing them second overall in the state. Special mention to Tom Lenehan being awarded the ‘most improved’ competitor in the state for the 2019 season. Leney’s training and determination has not gone unrewarded, earning him a gold and silver medal at this weekends competition. Prop trophies were also awarded to recognise the best teams ...across all carnivals in the 2019 competition season. Barwon Heads claimed an overall placing in the following events: 1st place: Women’s Mass and Teams, Men’s Mass, Rescue and Tube 2nd place: Men’s Teams and Men’s Tube 3rd place: Women’s Rescue, Men’s Teams This is a fantastic result, and something we can be very proud of as a club. Thank you to the committee, coaches, officials and families for the incredible support felt throughout the weekend and the season. We’re looking forward to a strong performance at the Australian Championships in July. Go 13th! Allan Banks, LSV
