25.01.2022 The City of Stonnington has postponed our Global Rhythms and Pets in the Park events over the coming two weekends. With the increasing numbers of reported cases of coronavirus in Victoria, community concerns and the increased risk associated with large groups of people congregating, we believe it is in the public interest to postpone these events and look to reschedule them at a future point. We will continue to support the Victorian Government Department of Health and Human ...Services (DHHS) as this matter evolves over the coming days, weeks and months. The Department is regularly updating advice and information, including how to protect yourself and others from Coronavirus through good hygiene and self-isolation if you feel sick. Current advice from DHHS is that people dont need to take actions like limiting your movement in the community or staying at home. This decision was made because of concerns around large crowds gathering, at this stage our smaller events in places like libraries and Prahran Square will continue to go ahead. Our shopping precincts remain open and we are in regular communication with our precinct associations. Well continue to liaise with the Victorian Government and monitor the situation for our future events, our weekly Whats On newsletter and this page are the best place to make sure you have up-to-date information. Global Rhythms was set for Saturday 14 March in Prahran Square. Pets in the Park was set for Sunday 22 March at Central Park DHHS Information about coronavirus https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/victorian-public-coronavirus-di
