25.01.2022 GRAND OPENING SPECIAL !!! We are having a Grand Opening special for our new Cafe on Saturday 3rd of May starting at 9:30am. All single scoop ice-cream is at $2.00 per scoop (Cup or Cone).... All proceeds from the sale of ice-cream will be donated to the Cancer Council. Special guest Hon Willem Westra van Holthe and Jennie Westra van Holthe will be officially opening our new Cafe area. Come and celebrate the Grand Opening of our new Cafe with us and get yourself an ice-cream to help with this great cause!!! We looking forward to see you at our new Cafe!!! :))

14.01.2022 Some interesting read on Sushi 1) Sushi is healthy, much healthier than burgers or fish n chips. Very heart friendly due to high fish oil content which promotes a healthy cardiovascular system. 2) Sushi is mostly low in fat and high in protein. ... Sushi roll (Makizushi) may also be high in carbohydrates. 3) The seaweed (Nori) is a great source of minerals found in the ocean. The vinegar in sushi rice is important in promoting cell metabolism. People that use vinegar regularly but in moderation have a lower percentage of body fat. 4) To eat sushi correctly is not to use too much soy sauce. Too much soy sauce will take away the freshness flavour of the ingredients. 5) Sushi can be expensive because only the freshest fish and produce are used. Most of the time, however, whatever you pay for is absolutely worth it. 6) Sushi may look easy to make, but a sushi chefs are trained many years in their art. 7) And lastly.Sushi is DELICIOUS !!!

10.01.2022 Our Grand Opening was a Great Success! Thank you to all those who were able to make it out to the Grand Opening and ribbon cutting Celebration for our new 168 Food Bar Cafe. It was a great success. We loved seeing all the familiar faces as well as the new faces that we hope to get to know. On our grand opening, we had a special promotion on our ice-cream for $2.00 per scoop on a cup or cone and with all proceeds go to the NT cancer council. There was a great turnout and we w...ere able to raise $509. Thank you all for your support in this great cause!. Special thanks also to Willem Westra van Holthe and Jennie Westra van Holthe for officially welcoming our new 168 Food Bar Cafe to Katherine and for your continued support to local businesses.
