04.01.2022 Speaking of Climate Change The climate, the atmosphere and the earth are reeling. There is change happening! However, these elevated extremes and unsettled elements are mirroring a deeper issue among humanity and nations. The source of climate change is not what it is primarily and emotively said to be founded upon. Rather, creation itself reels when we, as the Creators crowning creative achievement, do not honour the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways. *... We were created because of His extraordinary love, great purpose and profound wisdom. We exist to know, love and be one with Him, and to love what He loves and has created. The life, salvation and restoration of this world is in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He made all things, for nothing has existence apart from him. Life came into being because of him, for his life is light for all humanity. * Jesus is the preeminent centre of all things. He is the light and Lord of life. We see things the way they really are as we extol His supremacy, sovereignty and authority. We do not see how things really are otherwise. We are either for Christ - the Messiah - or we are embellishing and imbibing the spirit of what is anti-Christ. An increasing distinction is coming to the fore between a humility of heart whose life, hope and strength are preeminently in Jesus, as opposed to the pride of heart that raises itself above who He is, who said, I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. * The impact we see upon our planets climate is a sign of something greater.
