19.01.2022 Got the job! Start tomorrow

19.01.2022 After years of lobbying, the Central Coast is set to become home to the first Indigenous womens' drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in NSW. A $2.4-mill...ion transitional group home for up to 20 residents has been unanimously approved by the region's Local Planning Panel. The Glen for Women will be built on a rural property at Wyong Creek, with the Panel confirming the proposal is suitable for the four-hectare site.

19.01.2022 Hey Dubbo and Surrounding Region.... We are excited for your community and the news that there is going to be a Drug and Alcohol Rehab in your area.... We are being asked about helping but we want to hear from the local people and the mob before we do anything. ... Don’t be afraid to tell us what you think. If it isn’t supported by the community we ain’t the right people for the job Question: Should The Glen be part of a Dubbo Regional Rehab or not? Answer: Comments here

11.01.2022 Weekend Walks #TGB

11.01.2022 My name is Warren I am a Wiradjuri man from Peak Hill, I have spent 30 years living in Dubbo. I have struggled with alcohol for around 35 years I did anything to get that bottle, it caused a lot of loved ones to not speak to me anymore and it made me hit a rough patch on Christmas Day as well as ending up homeless. I then knew it was time to get help as I was feeling down, depressed and lifeless. That’s when I reached out to my cousin who got me in contact with The Glen and I was soon admitted into the program which I have completed earlier in the year. I am now 10 months sober and it’s the happiest I have ever been. Without the pain I wouldn’t be the person that I am today. The saying I go by is They were the good old days, they were good because they are gone.

07.01.2022 It’s been a good week at The Glen.... #workinghard #TGB
