13.01.2022 Hi everyone What a crazy world we live in! I thought I should create a post in regards to the virus and what it may mean for my business. At the moment I am continuing one on one lessons at my studio. I am taking the following precautions to limit any possible viral spread:... Disinfecting my piano between students. Disinfecting the door handle and gate latch. Regularly washing hands. What Can You Do? Wait at the gate to be let in. Don't touch any surfaces Maintain 1.5m distancing in the studio Rather than singing towards me, students can sing toward the curtain or lounge. I will have a hand washing station at the gate for piano students to use before and after lessons. Regardless of the Corona Virus any student who is sick should not attend lessons. What will happen if this situation gets worse? It seems inevitable that at some point we will have to go into a lockdown. If this happens before the school holidays I can offer conference video lessons for the remainder of the term. If the situation extends into term two and beyond it will likely have a big impact on my business. My plan during the next 5 weeks is to create an online music academy. As most know I have quite a large youtube audience and have been creating content online for the past 10 years. My private students will be able to continue their music tuition with me via this online academy. I will create a piano course for beginners plus technical work for more advanced pianists, update my vocal courses, and I already launched a music theory course for singers last year. Weekly private lessons can continue via conference video. I would suggest that students use this time to learn a new skill. Learn to read music, play piano etc. I will be taking some time to learn how to play the guitar! If you have any questions or concerns please contact me. Kind Regards, Ian

For those that are self isolating and would prefer not to do one on one lessons (either in studio or via video) for the remainder of this term I can give you access to my Online Music Theory Course. Simply send me a text with your email and I will add you :) For those that would prefer to do video lessons for the next 3 weeks let me know. I'm looking into the best platform to make this as easy as possible.... Ian
