25.01.2022 Station 227 Blayney have these firefighters, their colleagues, family and friends in our thoughts #weareallfirefighters

24.01.2022 The station was visited by Bryce from Fire and Rescue NSW BA Hazmat last Thursday night to put us through our paces to ensure our Operate Breathing Apparatus qualifications and training stays up to date and relevant, to better protect our community The purpose built trailer is designed to simulate a structure fire in a single level dwelling. Our firefighters conducted successful search and rescues with smoke and zero visability.... #lifelonglearners #frnsw #227 #227blayney #preparedforanything #trainforeverything #protecttheirreplaceable credit: RFF Casey Dixon

12.01.2022 At approximately 9pm last night, Friday 25 September 2020 Fire and Rescue NSW Station 227 Blayney attended a call to a building fire. Upon further updates and arrival, it was established to be a shed fire at the rear of a residential house. There was an occupant in the shed at the time the fire started but self evacuated safety before we arrived. All other residents of the house and neighbouring houses were evacuated by local police. There was no saving the shed, after the ma...ssive blaze was fully evolved on arrival and destroyed numerous vehicles including cars and motorbikes. The shed also contained multiple cylinders of gas and acetylene (all rendered safe) and barrels of fuel. The cause of the fire is still unknown. This was a mutily agency event with: Fire and Rescue NSW Station 412 Orange Fire and Rescue NSW Station 216 Bathurst Bathurst Hazmat Fire and Rescue NSW Station 105 Kelso NSW Ambulance NSW Police Force NSW Rural Fire Service All in attendance Fire and Rescue NSW Station 227 Blayney were released from the incident at approximately 2am Saturday 26 Setptember, leaving fresh crew to monitor, salvage and render safe. credit: Firefighter Casey Dixon

07.01.2022 A very interesting video showcasing some of our more unknown capabilities. What do you think some of our other capabilities are? What have you witnessed the crew of Station 227 Blayney attend other than fires? #morethanfire #preparedforanything

06.01.2022 Maybe when checking your smoke alarms and batteries, just give the install, and subsequent replacement date a check. Of course Blayney residents that we have visited will be unaffected by the situation in this photo #frnsw #227 #227blayney #morethanfire #protecttheirreplaceable #preparedforanything
