24.01.2022 Congratulations to all the Regional Centres allocated a cricket Hub through out Victoria, Once again Mildura misses out! Really disappointing as we are the mos...t disadvantaged region in Victoria and are crying out for a Cricket centre/hub - Was this decision made by Cricket Victoria based around little or no support from the MRCC? So who is to blame Cricket Victoria, the Mildura Rural City Council, Sunraysia Cricket or some other 3rd party? I have just spent 13 hours driving my girls to Melbourne & backto ensure they have the chance to play and train at the highest level at an expense of around $500 - this didn't include accommodation as i stayed with friends, but i do know others who pay for accommodation. I also know there are many other families from this region who have and are experiencing the same expenses. Below is a part of the media release from Cricket Victoria ".......As part of the $12.4 million Community Cricket Program, $10m from the State Government and $2.4 million from Cricket Victoria and Cricket Australia, Cricket Victoria committed to constructing regional cricket hubs in country centres to benefit local communities and players by increasing development opportunities and reduce both the cost and travel burden for players in pathway programs. After extensive consultation with cricket communities and local councils, five hubs will be constructed in: Ballarat Moe Wodonga Hamilton and Bendigo ........." #towardszero #tac #willowfest2018 #malleemurray #mrcc

23.01.2022 . END REGIONAL DISCRIMINATION...please watch and share .

21.01.2022 We have been fielding plenty of questions over the last little while, so here is Dan to explain a few.

20.01.2022 Josh Hudson is one of the good guys. He supports the premise that 25% of the people live in Regional Victoria and are entitled to 25% of the resources. His party is specifically focussed to look after us in Northern Victoria when elected. Hudson for Northern Victoria

20.01.2022 Decentralisation starts in Regional Vic

19.01.2022 Out of the $50,000,000,000 that this government is going to spend on a new metro project, this is the token comment to Regional Victoria. Can somebody please advise the premier and minister for transport that North west Victoria doesn't have a train at all, and that most of the rest of Regional Victoria infrastructure is in appalling shape

16.01.2022 I'm sure you've seen plenty already, but here's some more! It was an absolute privilege to design & launch the 25% Regional Victoria website with Park Douglas P...rinting. This is a website chock-full of information and resources that can be used by anyone who is passionate about Regional Vic getting our fair share. Check it out and keep an eye on it as things heat up for the State Election. This is a cause very close to my heart - and if you're sick to death of the crumbs we receive outside of Metro Vic, it should be close to yours too. www.25percentvictoria.com.au

15.01.2022 Now is a really good time to exercise your democratic rights and have your say. Your experiences or your point of view with regard to MBH are needed. Especiall...y ex and current staff who are not intimidated by the "corporate way" and want to see locals given a fair go. (Compliments to the staff and ex staff currently contributing) Your options for absolute confidentiality are to email me at [email protected] Or to use messenger on this page. Or posting, like many do, on visitor posts which is public and probably has the most impact although confidentiality may be totally necessary for you. This is very important as talks have begun already for more of the same. Please share. See more

15.01.2022 The Victorian Farmers Federation is demanding a moratorium on future rates increases until the state government, election candidates and councils commit to demolishing and rebuilding a broken system.

14.01.2022 Being interviewed by WIN News Shepparton today about the rise of independents, following the federal by-election in the Sydney seat of Wentworth. It has been he...artening to see the Independent Kerryn Phelps do so well in what was a blue-ribbon Liberal seat. It is showing a trend, not just in Wentworth, but across the country. Voters are sick and tired of the antics and lack of action by the major parties. They want quality local people who will actually effectively represent them!! It’s not rocket science, but the major parties just don’t get it. We get it!! See more

13.01.2022 Hudson for Northern Victoria was one of the first on board 25% Regional Victoria! Has the candidate who has your vote in the upcoming election pledged their commitment?

13.01.2022 25% of people live in regional Victoria. We demand 25% of ALL Victorian government resources25% of people live in regional Victoria. We demand 25% of ALL Victorian government resources

11.01.2022 Only vote for people who have this 25% logo at heart

10.01.2022 Hudson for Northern Victoria is on board! 25% of Victoria's population resides in regional areas. We support 25% of all financial and human resources commitments to be committed to regional Victoria! It's only fair!

08.01.2022 Daniel Andrews has pledged $5,000,000,000 per year for a DECADE to build a train track through the suburbs. This MUST be accompanied by $1.6 Billion per year for the same period for Regional Vic's crumbling rail infrastructure. 25% of the Population = deserving of 25% of the budget.... Good luck to our friends the NorthWest Rail Alliance for today's rally for the return of OUR train & the fight against Regional Discrimination!

06.01.2022 Minister John Eren uses funding from the Regional Events Fund to support a suburban event "The Andrews Labor Government has announced a $100,000 events package to assist with the staging of the 32nd Annual Australian Sikh Games in Casey The Sikh Games was secured through the Labor Government’s $17.7 million Significant Sporting Events Program, the $20.7 million Regional Events Fund and the Multicultural Festivals and Events Program."

05.01.2022 WE'RE VICTORIANS TOO.. AND WE'RE OVER IT. PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE. JACINTA ALLAN AND LABOR HAVE NO PLAN FOR PASSENGER RAIL ON OUR LINE. THE BEST THEY CAN DO ...IS A FACEBOOK POST ABOUT TRAINS SOMETIME IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS TO DUNOLLY. WELL, THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH. IT'S ACTUALLY A NONE EVENT. Today we got news of millions toward a steam train in Melbourne. It's pathetic, it's insulting, and frankly, it's time to ask that the Labor government listen. Two weeks ago we asked the Victorian Labor Member for Northern Victoria Mark Gepp, for a statement on passenger rail. Surprise Surprise, the question was dodged, and we got an irreverent statement about the Ouyen to Murrayville freight upgrade. When we asked for a statement about passenger rail two days later... total silence. Jacinta Allan continues to ignore the community's wishes about passenger rail. It's not as simple as 'we want our train'. It's a matter of countless numbers of communities missing out on a connection to Melbourne and Ballarat. It's about economic development, decentralisation, our environment, our social cohesion. Frankly, we're over being ignored. WE'RE VICTORIANS TOO. What are we asking??? We're asking our supporters to call and email Jacinta Allan's office. If you have never done it before, it's really simple. Just call, or email, and ask that our passenger train service is returned, and that we are treated as equal Victorians with others. Mention that distance and isolation should not be used against us. Don't forget to mention the disgust at the millions given to a tourist railway, and the millions given for each level crossing removal. DO NOT accept the spin about Freight achievements, this is about PASSENGER RAIL ON THE MILDURA LINE. Not about the 'amazing things' they have done for rural victorian transport (200km or less around Melbourne). Here are her details. Let us know how you go! 03 8392 6100 [email protected] Go do it, now!
