25.01.2022 Keep an eye out in my 2020 album as I will be uploading soon pictures of my new and exciting creations - "Flower Boards". Ive had this idea in my head for a while now and am very happy with the end result.

21.01.2022 We are heartbroken to announce that for the first time in the events 37-year history Agfest 2020 is cancelled in the best interests of the communitys health a...nd safety. After much careful deliberation weighing up the latest advice from health officials and the Tasmanian and Australian Government regarding containment measures for COVID-19 and the staging of public events, Rural Youth Tasmania and the Agfest Committee have unanimously agreed that this years event will not proceed. We cant wait to see the event back bigger than ever May 6-8 next year for #Agfest2021 See more

21.01.2022 I dont normally head back into my craft room until February and start markets in March, but I was invited back to do a craft session at the Door of Hope Christian Church for the day care kids. I had 36 eager pupils all wanting to try all the paper crafts. We ran out of time to make everything, but I left the rest for the kids to create after I had left. Thank you so much Belinda Downie for inviting me back. I always love to come and hang out with you. Liz xx

13.01.2022 What do you do when all your markets are cancelled, your sister in law turns 60 and her lunch was cancelled and you are a paper crafter?? You get crafty and make her a banner of course!!!! It took me a couple of days, but was so worth it!!!! I snuck down and tied it to her fence!! The things you do in these crazy times!!!

11.01.2022 Crazy times!! Received this email this afternoon - I wonder how many more markets will be postponed/cancelled. It may be my last market tomorrow for a while, so please pop down to the Albert Hall 8.30 - 4.00 and have a look. Today I have been giving enormous thought to what direction to go with the Silverdome Market in relation to the Corona virus, as the health of our vendors and customers is of the upmost importance. I have tried contacting the Department of Health with no... response but the Prime Minister has just announced that from Monday all non essential gatherings of more than 500 people are not to go ahead. As our markets draw crowds of around 5000 per day we fall into that category so this has sealed the decision. Therefore, sadly, the Silverdome Market on 28th-29th March will be postponed until further notice. For those vendors who were booked to attend your place will be saved for the market when it does go ahead. When the new date has been finalised I will let you know.

09.01.2022 I was so excited when my Agfest 2021 acceptance email was received, but unfortunately with a heavy heart I have made the tough decision to cancel. With the craft sites now outside for 4 days, new specifications for marquees/gazebos and added costs I weighed up the pros and cons and decided the best thing for me was to cancel. I can’t afford to hire or get a specific marquee, required insurance and cannot run the risk of bad weather which will damage/ruin my stock. I hope you all understand and I look forward to seeing you at other markets. Orders and custom orders welcome anytime, just shoot me a message. Liz xx

07.01.2022 Just had an email to say the Blooming Tasmania Flower and Garden Festival that was to be held in September has been cancelled. With more and more markets being cancelled, may as well say I wont be doing any markets until next year. It makes me sad as I really miss my market buddies, going out and socialising, making and selling my unique crafts and putting smiles on peoples faces. I am holding in there - just!! Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart for everyone who made a purchase, looked at my crafts and all your beautiful comments has totally blown me away. I certainly have missed the market scene and by the amount of people who came through today, you have too. 03.01.2022 I should be in a mad panic, but one of my reasons to pull out of Agfest Field Days, Tasmania for this year was validated this morning as I woke to thick fog and very heavy dew. Being a paper crafter outside in a marquee, all my stock would have been ruined. I am sad that I won’t get to met new or old customers. To remedy this I have decided to open my studio this week.
