23.01.2022 Protect your health, stay out of gyms. They’re very dangerous. #HealthTips #BeAfraid
22.01.2022 Looking at someone else and saying, I wanna look like that usually doesn’t work out very well. I was going to write a long, in-depth caption explaining why. B...ut I’d rather you take the time to watch this 58second clip instead. Because I think it might really hit home with you and could help you shift your perspective to something more realistic and something you’re more excited to achieve. I hope it helps #fitness #fitnessmotivation #weightloss #diet #dieting #nutrition #nutritiontips #weightlosstips #caloriedeficit #calories
13.01.2022 Nutrition documentaries are bullshit. They are heavily biased, one-sided, pseudoscientific, full of confirmation bias, and carefully edited to evoke emotional reactions rather than present any sort of balanced scientific position. Do not rely on them for accurate information.
11.01.2022 It’s amusing that despite the wealth of well-controlled intervention data demonstrating the causative agents at work, some folks are still reaching for alternat...ive hypotheses of obesity. That endeavor is a waste of calories (ooh that pun went hard). What we need to focus on is how to make it stick. Rhetorical question: can you permanently stick to a diet or training program you hate? Of course not, so rule number one: if you hate your diet or training, you’ll inevitably quit. Basic solution: find a diet & training program you don’t hate. Next level graduation: find a diet & training program you actually like. If you think that liking your program is impossible, then that’s your first problem to overcome if you are truly seeking the path to long-term adherence. Individualization is the key; find what clicks with your preferences and goals. Then condition your habits and derailment management skills. Get that right (it’s okay to drop your ego & get help), and you’ve solved the mystery.
08.01.2022 Building a healthy relationship with food does not require you to count calories. And losing fat does not require you to count calories. But.... Regardless of whether or not you count your calories, your calories always count. Doesn’t matter if you do keto or paleo or intermittent fasting or weight watchers or atkins. Your calories always count. Also. Just because I say calories are king for fat loss does NOT imply you should eat like an asshole all day, every day (you shouldn’t)... Or that calories are the only thing that matter (they aren’t)... Or that fat loss is always more important than health (it isn’t). The reason I talk about calories so much is because when you understand how simple (not easy) this fat loss thing really is...the sooner you’ll start to believe you can actually do it. And the sooner you’ll stop looking for the quick fixes and magical potions and humdingers and fiddle faddles and doodads. And the sooner you’ll start being more aware of what (and how much) you’re putting into your body. So you can get the results you want...while enjoying your favorite foods...without spending every last galleon, sickle & knut you earn on useless fat burners. That’s why I talk about calorie so much. Not because you need to count them. But so you can achieve your goals as quickly and sustainably as possible without feeling like a prisoner to the latest diet trend. #calorie #calories #caloriedeficit #weight #weightloss #weightwatchers #weightlosstransformation #weightlossmotivation #fitness
