25.01.2022 Demonstration and review of the Selmer PRIVILEGE Bb Clarinet. This is the earlier model without the left hand pinky ergonomic keys. It plays with a very big a sonorous sound, dark and sombre yet able to project and cut through the ensemble when called upon. A wonderful balance between solo and chamber timbre. Enjoy the easy selections of excerpts for your listening pleasure.

20.01.2022 A rare Boosey & Hawkes Imperial Eb clarinet. This clarinet is in pristine condition and silver plating on the keys shows almost no wear. Gold plating embellishing the Boosey & Hawkes logo is immaculate on the mouthpiece, body and bell. Refurbished and professional setup by 2ndClarinets, this clarinet is orchestra ready. Wood shows no cracks and has been given a thorough bore oil treatment. White kangaroo leather pads and cork pads gives this effer a mellow sound and fantastic projection. Original B&H mouthpiece is in excellent condition. Using a Vandoren 3.0/3.5 reed, this "beast" plays all the way up to top C (sounding Eb7) easily! 12-months warranty. $2800.

12.01.2022 Boosey & Hawkes Eb Clarinet. 7 rings 17 keys. C/G ring allows fork Eb/Bb. This beautiful instrument was owned originally by Thomas Young who used it in the Scottish National Orchestra for many years where he was Principal Clarinet. When he retired, it was passed onto Lorna Cook, using it in the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and West Australian Symphony Orchestra. It is in very good condition, no cracks and A=440Hz pitch. It comes with a Vandoren B40 mouthpiece. AUD$2000.
