25.01.2022 Planning for term 2 is well under way- we will be meeting on-line through Facebook and Teams for as long as the government deems necessary. Parents will be phoned this week to keep you up to date with what is happening. :)

18.01.2022 This week is our company night- can girls please wear their formal uniform (white blouse, navy bottoms and sashes). New girls can wear their purple shirts or plain clothes :)

14.01.2022 GB starts back tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing all our wonderful families... and our new girls as well. Don't forget to come dressed as something starting with K (I'm hearing some girls have come up with great ideas).

12.01.2022 Thank you to all our girls and families for your patience and support with GB on-line this term. We look forward to returning to the Shed in term 3 with a covid plan. We can't wait to see all our beautiful families again!

11.01.2022 If you are a parent of one of our GB girls (or a Pioneer) please make sure you search for our new page: 2nd Gladstone Girls' Brigade member's only page. As some people use nicknames for their Facebook accounts we do request you submit your daughter's name when requesting to join the group. We are looking forward to meeting with our girls over this page next Tuesday.

11.01.2022 This Tuesday our Pioneer girls are organising a special evening for us. Don't forget to wear your PJs!

10.01.2022 As ANZAC day services have been cancelled this year, we are encouraging all families to take part in this event instead. More details have been posted in our private members page.

09.01.2022 We had a great first night back last week. We practised kindness by making canvases and cards for our 2 new GB companies in Queensland- Hervey Bay and Dalby. Don't they look great! We look forward to seeing all our girls back again tomorrow night.

08.01.2022 At this stage Girls' Brigade will be meeting as normal this Tuesday night, however with governmental advice for Covid-19 changing very quickly this may alter. If we do need to change we will update Facebook and send out emails. If your daughter is a member of 2nd Gladstone company- please search for our private page- 2nd Gladstone Girls' Brigade Member's only page and request to join. We have set up this page in case our company needs to change to meeting on-line for a period of time. Hope to see you all Tuesday :)

04.01.2022 GB will be back this Tuesday at Shed19! We look forward to seeing all our families again. :) Emails have been sent out with information about changes to ensure we are covid safe. Our sign in system will be slightly modified this term and we would like to remind families to please ensure any girls who aren't well, stay at home.

03.01.2022 With the PM's new announcements we have made the decision to change GB to an online format. This week, we would like girls to drop into Shed19 sometime between 5.15-5.45pm to pick up a GB bag and letters with info for how we are going to continue over this period of time. We ask parents and younger siblings to stay in their cars and just have girls come out to pick out their packs and say a quick hello. Please ask them to keep their distance from each other and remind them that we are unable to hug or high five, but we would like to say hello. If you are unable to pick up at this time please let me know and I will drop a bag to your doorstep. Keep safe.

02.01.2022 Our company is now capped at the maximum number of girls we can have for 2020. We are unable to take any new girls who are not already registered. We are however making a waiting list for 2021. If your daughter is interested in joining us in 2021 please pm us or email [email protected]. Thank you for your understanding.

02.01.2022 COVID-19 2nd Gladstone GB Family: we are still open for "business" tonight. Please ensure that if you are unwell, you stay home and get some rest. GB are monitoring advice from our State and National Office, the Government, health departments and Shed19. We will remain meeting for GB on Tuesday nights until we are advised not to do so. We will keep information updated on here. Tonight - please remember good hygiene by washing your hands, cough into your elbow and minimise close contact.

02.01.2022 With the new lifting of covid restrictions we are excited to announce that we are able to invite 2 members of each family to join us at Awards night on Tuesday. We will still live stream on our private page for family members unable to attend. *Unfortunately we are unable to share a supper this year due to covid restrictions.* We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
