21.01.2022 What's the most unexpected time your Scouting skills have saved the day? Share your story with us below!

21.01.2022 Danish scouts have turned an island into a unique place where young people from all cultures and religions can come together to create projects and share ideas! #Dialogue4Peace

19.01.2022 Today we celebrate Founders Day! In the busyness of the start of the school and Scouting year, it's important to take a moment and reflect on our roots. Lord Ro...bert Baden-Powell opened the door for Scouts around the world to impact millions of young people, as well as their communities. Like our Youth Members, Baden-Powell fulfilled his potential, writing over 30 books about his travels and Scouting. Like our Adult Members, he freely gave his time and energy to the betterment of the Scouting program and the young people it empowers. His legacy lives on through each and every one of us and our participation in Scouting. #Scouts #FoundersDay #ScoutsNSW

15.01.2022 Unfortunately the NSW Cuboree 2020 has been cancelled and will not proceed. All participants have been contacted to explain the reasons for cancellation. Scout...s NSW takes the health and safety of our members at Scouting events very seriously, and we work closely with local authorities so that we have the most up to date and relevant information possible to make informed decisions. Due to significant and persistent concerns over bushfires, road closures and air quality, and a firm recommendation from the RFS Command and the Regional Emergency Management Officer to cancel Cuboree 2020, the NSW Cuboree 2020 has been cancelled and will not proceed. All information and updates will be available on the Cuboree website. https://cuboree.nsw.scouts.com.au//64-cuboree-2020-cancell

15.01.2022 Showing gratitude is one of the simplest yet most powerful things we can do for each other. Know someone who has gone above and beyond in their Scouting, and deserves recognition? Use our downloadable 'thank you' cards to say thanks! https://www.nsw.scouts.com.au/bravo/templates/

15.01.2022 Our thoughts are with all those families, and communities, who are being directly affected by the catastrophic bushfires and the sustained drought. Emergency se...rvices, fire-fighters and charity workers are providing round-the-clock support. The amount of sacrifice made by so many volunteers in order to aid our communities can never be repaid, but that doesn’t mean we cannot aid them as we are able. Many also volunteer for Scouts NSW. They are true heroes. As volunteers ourselves, it’s natural that we want to find ways to help. Yesterday, Neville Tomkins OAM JP, Chief Commissioner of Scouts NSW launched the Chief Commissioner’s Emergency Relief Campaign to assist Scouting families impacted by the catastrophic bushfires or the sustained drought. The campaign aims to provide members the opportunity to assist Scouting families impacted by bushfires or drought by donating to the Family Support Fund, which helps young people facing hardship to attend their local Scout group. 08.01.2022 These 5 merit badges prove what we began suspecting a long, long time ago: Scouts are basically modern-day Jedi.
