24.01.2022 Been a while since the last update, but lots has been going on in the background. Lots of work on Tara, more donations with Mt Buller Towing helping out with Tara and a terrific donation from the CWA Mansfield branch along with more donations to our wegive fundraising page. 11.01.2022 A few of updates from 2 Warn Out regarding the Shitbox Rally: 1. Most importantly, thanks to each of you, we have reached our first fundraising target of $5000!!! An absolutely amazing effort. Luke and I are truly humbled by the support we continue to receive, even in these trying times. 2. The Shitbox Rally has been postponed. Due to the ongoing developments of COVID-19 it was announced that the rally will now take place from 22nd May to 28th May 2021. We will be taking the ...same route as planned. 3. Get ready to pop the champagne, Tara the Tarago passed the Roadworthy!!! An amazing effort by Luke to get her up and running and special shout out to Tony at Black Cat Engineering and Mt Buller Towing for donating their time and services to help. 4. POSTPONED. NOT CANCELLED: In short, all you wonderful sponsors will remain our sponsors for next year. All the donations, they are kept as well. This is a huge win to everyone involved. 5. In order for the event not to be cancelled, we will need to raise a further $3000 prior to the rally in May 2021. We are confident that we can achieve this! We see this scenario a far better option than having to cancel the rally. The SBR organisation has put in a huge amount of effort and will wear a lost the costs involved to have the Rally take part next May. This will help somewhat bridge that gap. 6. Last but not least; thank you. To each and every one of you. This year has thrown everyone some incredible challenges and we need to continue to look after each other. 04.01.2022 Hello supporters, sponsors, donators and friends of team ‘2 Warn Out’. Well, in a normal world, myself and Ben would currently be aboard our trusty steed ‘Tara’, somewhere up in northern Australia (hopefully ) but instead we are socially distancing ourselves like most of the country. The silver lining is we will be on our way this time next year, Tara is tucked up in the shed and with a little more fundraising to do now before next May, I thought I’d share this post, so anyone who has donated to the cause or wishes to do so, can really see where their donations go and how vitally important they are. Stay safe everyone.
