19.01.2022 CASC are aware of the water supply quality issues at the moment. We have investigated the matter and have instigated some distribution main scouring to clean the dirty water from the system. This flushing will again be completed on a number of mains this afternoon (Tuesday 3rd November) to further clean the system. Further advice will be given as more information is obtained. This quality issue has come about from the upgrade works and in particular, the filtration media replacement, being done at the Water Treatment Plant.

10.01.2022 Flags are raised daily, with the Australian flag being in the middle and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island flags on either side. Flag are flown at half mast on the day someone in community loses a close relative or friend or on the following Monday. Flags are also flown at half mast on the day of the funeral/ memorial service. We feel that our method, clearly and respectfully demonstrates our respect and compassion to the deceased person and their families.
