This means visitors to our site can now access, contact free, via a QR code our site inductions, safety plans, SWMS, and check in to site on each visit. 23.01.2022 Let's talk 'Sculleries' What is a Scullery? A scullery is a room in a house, traditionally used for washing up dishes and laundering clothes, or as an overflow kitchen. Tasks performed in the scullery include cleaning dishes and cooking utensils, occasional kitchen work, ironing, boiling water for cooking or bathing, and soaking and washing clothes. Popular back in the Victorian era, over the last couple of years they have been making a comeback. When you take a look at the ...functions this room has to offer, it's not hard to see why! Even in 2020 they are a multi-functional space and replace the need for separate Butlers pantry and Laundry rooms saving space in the home by combining the two uses. Here is a scullery we designed for a home we built last year, that flows off the Kitchen making use of louvres to keep the area cross ventilated, light and airy. We incorporated plenty of cupboard space, 2 hanging rails for drying clothes or to hang ironing and a butlers/laundry sink. Let us know what you think. or ?
