24.01.2022 RB30 low mount turbo manifold. Lots of work went into making this flow as well as possible without turning into a bunch of spaghetti. Cylinders 1 and 6 fire straight into the collector which flows very smoothly. 800+hp capable

22.01.2022 Some progress on the exhaust manifold for the ex-F1 turbo from a Honda RA167/168. Everything has been bent on the roll cage chassis bender to give smoother bends with larger radius and less restriction, with the exception of one sharp bend on cylinder 1 and 5. This will be used on a 5-cylinder Volvo engine and mid mounted behind the driver for better balance, all weight being within the wheelbase.

21.01.2022 Nissan Patrol with upgraded Holset turbo and FMIC now completed and burning up the streets in anticipation for its dyno tune. Big thanks to the team at The Fabricators Warehouse for the 316 marine grade stainless products.

20.01.2022 Mobile work is our specialty, and here we are doing a complete overhaul to this much-loved GU Patrol 2.8TD. Larger and brand new Holset turbo from a Cummins engine Front mount intercooler, fabricated in Germany by Behr EGR delete... Ported intake and exhaust manifolds 316-grade stainless tubing and bends, thanks to our friends at The Fabricators Warehouse. 3 turbo intake 2 chargepipes 3 downpipe fitted with v-band 3 turbo-back exhaust All this and more, all done as a mobile service. Looking forward to seeing the results of this package for our great and valued client.

19.01.2022 Was good to get back to my roots and rebuild some turbochargers this weekend. This one is a Volvo turbocharger from a C70. Also building a TD05HRA (titanium turbine), an Evo "Green" turbo and a GTX4202.

14.01.2022 James is the owner of this crazy twin turbo drift BMW and he recently broke his wrist. Some say he injured his wrist due to his steering wheel falling off, but I cat confirm the rumour (a bit of a personal joke and a dig). Hope your recovery is complete and not prolonged mate so we can get back out on the track.

13.01.2022 Full turbo-back exhaust fabricated a few weeks back for the awesome team @ The weekend builds for their Cressida sleeper running a Lexus V8 with Gt35 turbo. Incorporating 3 stainless tubing with mandrel bends, catalytic converter and 2 silencers and the best of all: a functioning and deceptive pea-shooter exhaust for full stealth-mode Charge pipes also completed. Really looking forward to seeing what this car will do when it hits the dyno.

11.01.2022 Reshaping and welding a custom sump including baffling for the oil pickup for The Weekend Builds barra-swapped Volvo. Unfortunately their previously altered sump was badly done and while trying to polish a turd it cracked through the main support girdle. Luckily they had another sump on hand and we made a quick decision to start again and for the better. Soon we will begin a whole series of instructional videos on how to do repairs Such as this, including fabrication and welding techniques.

05.01.2022 Welcome to the latest iteration of our Barra manifold. This now offers a better runner layout and merging; while retaining its compact design. Also, it retains the great flexibility of being low-mounted, high-mounted and centre-mounted....in fact, it can be ordered with the turbo clocked however you like; which brings unrivalled adaptability. It can still be purchased either complete or as a DIY kit, with several options including pre-notching to make fabrication that bit... easier. We realise there are some great tubular manifolds on the market and we actually never intended to compare our manifold to those - our original idea was to offer that turbo-positioning flexibility in a package that still worked great; primarily for conversions.... However, clients have been requesting a higher flowing alternative that still offers flexibility and here it is! We have done in-house dyno testing early this week and the results were incredibly encouraging. We are going to hold-off on announcing our tested results and power figures, as we have several clients preparing to do some before-after 3rd party tests.

05.01.2022 Sorting new stock of Stainless elbows, reducers and tubing. All products are made in NZ, Australia and Sweden and exceed Australian Standards 1528.3 for all industrial, automotive and marine use. These offer perfect roundness: making fabrication so much easier and internal flow much better. They exhibit excellent consistency and metallurgy unlike cheap Chinese products that crack, degrade and weld terribly. As fabricators, these are the only product we use. If you need stainless products we have stock ready to go from 1.5" to 6" and have another shipment arriving next week.

03.01.2022 Update on a Barra XR6 we were building recently. The car has now been put on the rollers and now has a low-boost run-in tune On 98 octane. Boost was ramped-in slowly as the motor is still fresh, but still produced 558rwkw, or 753 whp. At 22psi, where this turbo is only just waking up. Looking forward to seeing what it will produce once running E85 and 35psi. ... - Atomic longblock - 360CF intake manifold - 360CF built Gtx4202 - 360CF intercooler
