He is trained in Ballet, Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Spanish, Tap, Salsa, Rumba, Son, Acrobatics, Hip Hop and Cuban folklore. Cruz has toured the World with the famous Lady Salsa smash hit show, as well as performing in the famous Tropicana show and Ballet TV in Cuba. He has also been a backup singer and dancer for Salsa Orchestra Halia Maria Monpier in Cuba; and Hip Hop and Contemporary dancer in Company PMM in Cuba.

Don't miss out on this debut show at the Adelaide Fringe Get your tickets NOW! @Yasim Coro...nado Veranes https://adelaidefringe.com.au/fringe/feel-the-rhythm-af2018 Yasim Coronado Veranes is one of Cuba’s highly regarded talents with over 10 years professional Dance, Acrobatic, Choreography and Performance experience. Yasim studied Circus skills and professional dance from a young age, coming from a long line of professional musicians his natural rhythm comes from within his soul, leading him to dance in the best companies, tour the world and even dance for the Queen of England. Having started his career in the Circus in Cuba, gaining a spot on the cast of Cirque de Soleil was his biggest achievement yet at the age of 19, Cuba’s Communist regime would mean his dreams were shut down before they had even started, he had to turn down the place, this ignited a fire from within him. He then went on to tour in Switzerland with the oldest Circus in Swiss history ‘NOCK’ as Choreographer and Acrobat, gaining valuable experience working in huge productions touring the country. On return he continued to choreograph some of the Latin worlds biggest artists shows and music videos, performing and choreographing for the likes of Marc Anthony, Gent De Zone, Jacob Forever the list goes on. Yasim was also the Head Choreographer for many years for the largest Latin Awards Show ‘Lucas’ across varied styles of Reggaeton, Hiphop, Classical and Traditional Latin styles. His latest position as Contemporary Dancer and Acrobat in the famous ‘Ballet Revolucion’ saw him tour Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Turkey to name a few performing in some of the worlds most famous theatre’s and festivals for the last 5 years. Never forgetting is Cuban routes on return from tour he taught and mentored young dancers in Cuba’s largest dance school ENA National School of Art, (where he studied) and various community dance schools encouraging young talent. He has also taught in many English dance schools and choreographed winning dance pieces for the UK’s competition scene.

02.01.2022 Seeing all this horrible news from these bushfires has been absolutely heartbreaking, and what makes it worse is the significant loss of all our native animals. Whilst we have already donated to various platforms, I’ve been thinking what more can I do to help. It breaks my heart knowing that all these animals have perished, and after reading the figure of half a billion animals, I’ve now discovered that this number is for NSW only, and does not include the rest of Australia ...that has been affected by these fires. I have also just learned that the Wires campaign (also raising money for the wildlife affected by the fires) can only legally help shelters in NSW. So I would like to raise money for the wildlife affected in S.A. I will be running 2 classes (Heels & Dancehall). 100% of the profits will be donated to the following organisations: - Adelaide Koala Rescue - Adelaide Koala & Wildlife Hospital - South Australia Veterinary Emergency Management (SAVEM) -Help Save Kangaroo Island Koalas & Wildlife (Gofundme Page) WORKSHOP DETAILS: Wednesday 22nd January 6:15-7:15pm - Heels 7:15-8:15pm - Dancehall Registration starts at 6:00pm.
