23.01.2022 Cubs and Scouts were out braving the cold and winds this morning Cubs heading up to Bushmans Hill and Dam for a 3km walk on Level 1 Bushwalking The Scouts headed off on their own adventure on the walking track behind Pioneer oval to beyond the new water treatment plant and back 6kms finishing some of their Bushwalking Badge work and parts of other levels... Both enjoyed their first outing in months despite the misty rain at times

21.01.2022 With limited outdoor activities now permitted and the return of face-to-face Scouting on the horizon, now is the best time to get ready to get back to Scouting ...as we know it! Some sports and other activities were cancelled due to COVID but Scouting continued and will keep going until the end of the year. We know that the return to face-to-face Scouting may be challenging in a number of ways for some families. The NSW Government’s Active Kids rebate can assist with the cost of Scouting. The good news is that the second Active Kids voucher will be available to claim in a few short weeks. Mark 1 July on your calendar for the release of the second Active Kids voucher. This year, both Active Kids vouchers used with Scouts will go towards the cost of the Scouts NSW membership fee (and joining fee if you are a new member). 17.01.2022 WORKING BEE The Scouts Committee invites you to participate in a Working Bee on Saturday 24th October 9-10am. It will be very quick, socially distanced and focused on getting the grounds fire and snake safe for summer. Please come with your gardening gloves and if we have adequate numbers a few of us can do a bit of general cleaning in the hall. We'd love to see you there!
