That means - next week were playing finals For our juniors, you will still be playing another round next week, with finals the following week. More details about finals to come Till then, lets get these few last games done and dusted! For now, the weather is looking okay on Thursday, but we will definitely keep you all posted! ... 21.01.2022 SENIOR GRAND FINALS Here it is! We would just like to thank everyone for being apart of our summer competition here at WTA Oztag West We would also like to thank our amazing referees! Its a hard job to do & we appreciate your time and efforts. Without you, we would not possibly be able to run this competition! Well done to you all ... A big congratulations to our top four senior teams: 1. YOU KNOW 2. CAR PIE 3. BLACK MAGIC 4. HAV 2 The semis is 1 v 4 and 2 v 3. Then the winners of those games will play each other in the grand finaleeee Tomorrows weather is not looking too good So please keep an eye out for weather updates during the day tomorrow. 19.01.2022 OPEN MIXED ROYAL RUMBLE All senior teams need to be at the fields by 6.15pm for the draw! This is how it will work: Each team will draw out numbers 1-6. ... Those who draw numbers 1-4 will play first, with the winner going straight to round 3. If you lose, you will still have opportunity to make round 3. Those who draw number 5 or 6, will get to sit back and watch the first round and goes straight into round 2. Still dont get it? Dont worry. 13.01.2022 ROUND 3 REMINDER: PAYMENTS ARE NOW DUE! It has now been 10 weeks since registration nights began! Failure to pay for fees BEFORE the start of games will result in inability to play! We WILL be checking all players before they take the field. If you need extra time/payment arrangements, please consult with JB BEFORE your game time. And here are some friendly reminders: Bring your oztag shorts (if you do not have any, you can order a pair & theyll be ready to collect in one week, see Jarrod for more help). ... If your team does not have matching playing shirts yet, we ask that you take it upon yourself to come to the top desk & grab some coloured playing bibs for your team. If your team is not yet financial, you have until ROUND 3 to be fully paid up. Talk to JB about your payment enquires. He doesnt bite, so please just have a chat with him & he will take good care of you We are very lucky we miss the scorching weather this week, but please bring hydrationand sun protection regardless We encourage you all to remain patient with our refs, most of whom are reffing for the first time this year. 05.01.2022 Happy Tag day everyone Please note the following WTA West Module rules to be enforced as of tonight: 1. All grades any belts that are needed will be a point against your team before game starts... 2. Senior grade only any non Oztag shorts that are used will also have a point against your team 3. All grades is 7 v 7 4. Junior grades no restrictions on boys and girls on the field 5. Senior grade must have minimum of 3 females on the field at one time. 6. Senior grade if you do not have 3 females and only 2 means you must have them on the field however must play with 1 less male. 7. Senior grade you can class juniors as female however please note they do not get double points as per the rule for 2 points for females to score a try. 8. All grades must have names on sign in sheet, if not on sheet DO NOT TAKE THE FIELD AND COME TO OPERATIONS TABLE BEFORE GAME 9. All grades please note we have a ZERO tolerance for any playing abusing any WTA referee. If you argue with the reff they have been instructed by me to send you off without replacement for 3 minutes. We welcome anyone who wants to come and reff and please remember this is a social competition this is not State Cup or another Tag brand. This is a family friendly community club and regardless of skill we are all here to have fun including us. Please note all referees have been informed of this and will be enforcing the above local rules, any questions please come see myself inside tonight and happy to help.
