23.01.2022 For all our budding young designers

23.01.2022 Nilee Vents were back last night and they were set a 2 minute challenge, put on as many tops as you can. In the words of Gilliy they came back looking like marshmallow puffs, lots of smiles and laughter as they counted the layers, between 8-12 tops. PS Sorry parents about the messy floors.

05.01.2022 How wonderful, reminds me of the blood moon sleepover we did last year. One of our youth organised a trip to sky high, where we looked through telescopes for the constellations and had a hot supper. We waited for the moon and then slept at the hall. Lets see if we can get some photos to share on our Facebook page.

05.01.2022 A very talented Scout.

04.01.2022 Lest we forget.

04.01.2022 Unfortunately Top Gear scouts has been put on hold till later in the year. I think we all want our youth members and volunteers to feel safe. All applications are still valid and I will share any details on the as they become available.

03.01.2022 Last week the 3RE Cubs welcomed another Grey Wolf cub to its ranks. Daniel completed the highest award attainable in the Cub Section and will have his name added to the Grey Wolf Board over the fireplace. Well done Daniel on all your hard work!

02.01.2022 Scouts and all, heres an awesome science based activity you can do from your backyard, tonight, or as soon as you have a clear sky. Count all the stars you can... see in the Southern Cross. This will help determine how dark your sky is and the degree of light pollution in your location. This is being promoted by ASDA (The Australian Dark Sky Alliance, of which I am a member...) and uses the Globe at Night website to put in your information. This will also help you see and locate the Southern Cross, which you can also use in navigation to find true South. Such an activity would also count towards your Astronomy badge, depending on whether or not in your scouting system (wherever youre from) this still exists... sad if it doesnt. Sorry, for Southern Hemisphere observers only as you cant see the Southern Cross from the Northern Hemisphere as it never rises above the horizon. Some information here.

02.01.2022 For any Scout doing JOTI ther is also a Minecraft Server.
