24.01.2022 This is the bearding that happens every night with my bee hive. Not really sure why it’s happening other than the activity in the brood box is so high that the temperature and humidity in the hive is high.

21.01.2022 My bees have been acting a little odd recently, congregating outside the hive entrance all night in a small "beard". Asked a mate at work who keeps bees and organised the hive for me, and he said I needed to check inside for small hive beetle. I couldn't see small hive beetle but I do have one very active hive. Here are some pics. Glad I was suited up and gloved. This is a strong hive!!!
