22.01.2022 Haven't posted for a while. 410 have been busy this last term parading and getting back into the swing of things with COVID always at the forefront of our minds. July saw promotions course with 6 cadets attending. They attended either the Lance Corporals Course, Corporals Course, Sargeant's Course or Warrant Officer/Cadet Under Officer Course. Last week was the Annual Field Exercise. All 410 cadets attended and even had a couple of our cadets return with the Torch and Sword A...ward which is given for cadets who were consistently living the core values of Teamwork, Courage, Initiative and Respect. Well done to both CDT Chester and CDT Garbutt. A big thank you to 2LT Czmpbell for being 410 bus supervisor for the trip to AFX and return.

18.01.2022 Tomorrow I have the honour of representing 410ACU and the Australian Army Cadets at the funeral of Mr Harry Lock. He was one of the last Rat of Tobruk and served his country well. RIP Harry Lock. Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to his family.

16.01.2022 Radio communication is a vital part of any exercise. Here we have the signals course who have learnt the many aspects of RATEL under the careful tutelage of some very experienced ADF/ ACS members! #sa_afx2019

16.01.2022 410ACU doing it COVID style. Virtual training meetings mean cadets are still engaging in parade nights. It is awesome to see them all engage in this new means of parading. Well done to you all..

12.01.2022 Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks as we release more photos from #sa_afx2019 The amphibious course spent a few days on the Murray River. From paddling to... their different camping spots each day, learning how to rescue fellow Cadets in distress to having a fun time on the water - it is clear that all had a great time! See more

12.01.2022 What a great start to the Term. Two of our senior cadets visited a couple of schools in the Riverland with our Battalion Commander and spoke to the students about the Australian Army Cadets and their journey since joining. This has prompted a new influx of cadets to 410 ready to start their own journey. Well done to both BN RSM Isaacs and SGT Pfennig for your efforts. Welcome to the new cadets.

12.01.2022 Although things have been quiet on base, 410ACU have been busy behind the scenes implementing virtual parades. Isolation need not mean we need to switch off completely when ways can be found to still enjoy the things we used to before COVID-19.

03.01.2022 A glorious weekend for 410ACU and 420ACU.

02.01.2022 The Sallyman is a very important part of the Australian Defence Force. Whilst out field, the Sallyman comes out to distribute hot & cold drinks, food as well as... helping to lift morale. We have been very lucky that the Sallyman from 7 RAR came out to visit us in the field over several days. #sa_afx2019

02.01.2022 Second Service for 410ACU. Very proud of the efforts of our unit in showing their respect for those who lost their lives defending our country. We will remember them.

02.01.2022 With all activities that the AAC puts on for our Cadets, behind the scenes are our Army Cadet Staff (ACS) who come from all walks of life. ACS can be; parents o...f cadets, police officers, office workers, ex-military, nurses, carpenters, bakers, paramedics, farmers & truckies just to name a few. To ensure that ACS are equipped for their role, they undertake many different courses to ensure the safety of the Cadets under their charge but also to help support all activities. Here you can see SGT Brooks instructing CAPT(AAC) McGrath & Sheehan about the safe use of the water choofer. This machine allows for the easy boiling of water whilst out field. Very important for cooking, hygiene and morale #sa_afx2019
