24.01.2022 This looks like a lovely change to the normal photo booths.

22.01.2022 What do they say about working with animals????

21.01.2022 This is an interesting article to give you some advice if you are planning on eloping during these socially isolated times. Food for thought with many comments here. But it's your day, your decision and it's all about your love for each other. All my couples have decided to postpone/reschedule or just hang in there in case the restrictions are lifted in time for them to have the day of their dreams. Thinking of eloping - please contact me for my special prices for the next few months.

21.01.2022 Well, just had my first wedding cancelled for October due to Covid. Feeling for my couples who have had to put all their dreams on hold until there is some certainty in this world.

20.01.2022 Fingers crossed I may be a finalist again this year! Many thanks to you all. Voting allowed only from couples I married after April 2019.

20.01.2022 This is a lovely way to help our Lions Club raise much needed funds for a worthwhile organisation.

20.01.2022 I love the way this ceremony has been set up. Gets away from the traditional straight rows of seating. Of course it would look much different now with social distancing at present.

19.01.2022 Finally it's time to party at weddings! Well done Queenslanders.

19.01.2022 I can't believe a hotel would cancel a wedding just because it's now become a covid isolation hotel just 5 weeks out from the ceremony. Luckily the couple have managed to rebook another hotel after much stress and concern, but just goes to show money is money in these hard times.

18.01.2022 Ok so how many celebrants have their own approved COVID safe plan right now? They are just making it so hard for celebrants to keep working at present. Feeling a little angry and sad at present.

18.01.2022 Did you know that for a little bit more than the cost of a wedding in the Registry Office, you can have a personally created ceremony to make your wedding day a day to remember. No cut and pastes, written just as you wish. Please give me a call or email to have a chat about your options.

17.01.2022 Let’s all do the right thing with the virus in Qld. Keep our distance, wash hands regularly and be careful. There are no weddings allowed from Thursday in Melbourne due to their severe restrictions. I feel so sad for all the couples who have had their dream day ripped away from them. Let’s keep them all in our thoughts. We are so lucky to live in Qld despite the recent virus spreading incidents.

16.01.2022 We have to believe and love ourselves!

14.01.2022 Here's some good advice if you are unsure about attending a wedding as a guest during these crazy times.

12.01.2022 There is an article in today's Courier Mail stating dancing is banned from weddings! Just as we can now have 100 people another rule comes into play. It's getting absurd now for couples just wanting to marry in these testing times. Feeling very sad they cannot celebrate their way.

08.01.2022 Urgent protection measures are in place after an increase of COVID-19 cases were reported in Queensland. In Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan City, Scenic Rim, Somerset,... Lockyer Valley, Moreton Bay, and Redlands, gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 10 people. Everywhere else, gatherings in people’s homes and outdoors are limited to 30 people. Venues and events following COVID Safe Industry Plans can continue operating. Visits to aged care and disability accommodation services in Greater Brisbane, Ipswich and surrounds will be limited. Emergency departments will be required to use PPE to treat all patients and hospital visitors will be limited as soon as possible. Please stay safe: maintain social distancing, keep up good hand hygiene and stay home if you’re sick. #covid19

06.01.2022 Here are some interesting facts about budgeting for your wedding. $794 is the average cost of a celebrant in Australia. Please contact me and have a chat as my charges are much less for your perfect ceremony. I'd love to hear from you.

03.01.2022 This is a great deal for anyone wanting a destination wedding. You can have a legal ceremony performed by me so you have your marriage registered in Australia and then travel to Phuket to have the celebration of your dreams.

01.01.2022 Here is an interesting article about weddings in the near future. If you are planning on getting married after July it is really important that you read the requirements for the large 100 person wedding as that number is not just the total guests, but includes all providers on the day. Personal space at your venue needs to be discussed with your provider as well to adhere to social distancing laws.
