21.01.2022 Swan river autumn classic! All 6 of our horses jumped great with Smiling Assassin 1st and DE Gatsby 2nd in the bronze series. Young Equestrians Tinkas Bay jumped a super clear in the first round of the bronze and just a light rail in the jump off. @daisyskyescott Pico Bam won the 115cm open and 5th 125 open. NP Cashmere 5th in the Grand Prix and Smiling Assassin 1st and Tulara Corango 3rd in the young rider! Thank you to swan river for putting on a great show and all of the sponsors! 19.01.2022 Super wet and rainy weekend at Dryandra this weekend but the horses jumped awesome. Concorde Ego Z 2nd 130cm am5 and Winning the horse of the year today! Barrabadeen Halifax coming 5th in the Junior with Belle and Winning the silver with David. Oaks Valentina 5th 115cm and 5th In the Silver.... 17.01.2022 Live-in grooming position available! Dobson Equestrian is looking for a groom to start as soon as possible. Job can be 3-6 days a week depending on suitability. We currently have 25 horses on the property. Duties include feeding, mucking out, taking horses to/from paddocks and general yard duties. Riding can be included depending on ability. Great work environment with lots of friendly people around. Accommodate available in a 1 bedroom self contained apartment. Also option to bring your own horse available. 14.01.2022 Wa State titles! Was super to have Davids old team mate Concorde Ego Z back feeling super- 1st in Mini Prix Rd 1, 1st riders cup and 5th in the 1* Wa state titles. Dobson Equestrian Gatsby stepped up to the mini prix and handled it very well to jump clear in Rd 1 and Runner up in the Wa state mini prix! He also won the 6 year old style class judged by Dennis Lynch. ... Tulara Corango jumped super and was 3rd in mini prix Rd 1 and 1 unlucky rail in the riders cup. Smiling Assassin jumped super in the young riders to place 3rd in Rd 1 and Runner up in the state young rider titles. Noblewood Park cashmere jumped in the juniors and young riders for 4th Rd 1 junior and 5th in the state junior titles. She just had 1 unlucky rail in the state young rider title for 6th place. Daisy Scotts Pico Bam jumped super with Courtney OSullivan in the amateur to place 5th in Rd 1 and Runner up in the final. 10.01.2022 We had a very successful Perth royal show. Tulara Corango won the countryman memorial and masters and was 2nd in the Grand Prix of WA. Smiling Assassin won the top score and the hit and hurry and was 2nd young rider mini prix and 3rd part 3 mini prix. Noblewood Park cashmere was 2nd masters, 4th young rider mini prix and 5th in the top score. belle also won leading rider 21 and under!

We currently have 25 horses on the property and about 8 in work. Duties include feeding, mucking out, taking horses to/from paddocks, tacking up horses and general yard duties. 09.01.2022 Wasja winter championships Our horses were super this weekend, DE Gatsby 1st 125cm on Saturday and 2nd 125cm yesterday Tulara Corango 5th 125cm Smiling Assassin 5th 115cm on Saturday and 4th 115cm on Sunday Cessna had her first show off the track and won the 60cm and 5th 80cm Thank You to the wasja for putting on a great show and our sponsor @kentauraustralia for always providing us with the best gear for our horses and us #spottedinkentauraustralia

09.01.2022 Patrons Cup was definitely a show to remember! Oaks Valentina Stepping straight out into the prestigious Gaynor Mcinnes memorial class to jump 2 clear rounds and a very fast jump off to take the win for David's 3rd year in a row Concorde Ego Z won the 135cm the first day and 2nd in the Patrons Cup jumping 2 clear rounds and then decided he would let David go and have a drink in the VIP Noblewood Park Cashmere stepping up in the bigger classes jumping 2 rounds of the Gayn...or with just a time fault. Double clear in the Bronze and 1 down in the 125cm. Barrabadeen Halifax jumping a awesome first round of the under 21 championship. Tulara Corango was the star winning both his starts, young rider with Belle and HOTY with David all 4 of the horses in the silver series jumped clear first rounds with Dobson Equestrian Gatsby 1st, Smiling Assassin very close behind in 2nd and @karenmc21 AEA Corland in 5th. Tinkas Bay just having a couple of green rails in the jump off.
