20.01.2022 Congrats to our club members paddling in what has become a national sup club virtual challenge across a number of distances with a number taking out some distances and a number also standing on the podium Round 1 series points for the 5km series will be out soon, rumour has it our members are off to an early start building strong points in the 4 round series. There will be lots of movement over the 4 months and good luck to all that are paddling in this great series across Australia. 11.01.2022 Today saw the running of round 5 of our 6 race Apsu Nutrition Time Trial series , In probably the toughest conditions any of our members have encountered on the 3 and 4 klm coarse on the Elliott River with 25 knot plus Northerlies to contend with . Numbers may have been down today but those that paddled earned every valuable point on offer in the series, after running today race sees positions change on the leader board but points are close and with only one race left in the... series it can be anyone’s race in the Mens and Laddies divisions to claim King and Queen of the river and the much sort after first prize of the Ke Nalu Mana paddles up for grabs . Well done to all competitors And thanks David Smith for timing and Shelley McDonald for the pics . 09.01.2022 4670 SUP CLUB 2020 Clearwater Classic powered by Pulse Electrical is done and dusted for another year with 31 racers at todays 5&10km courses with a number backing up from yesterday afternoons 3&4km time trial. Good conditions out there this morning with a nice wind and tide assist on the way back, some would say not so nice going out Some great battles through the field in all the various categories and distances. 09.01.2022 Today’s Round 2 of 4670 SUP Club’s Apsu Nutrition Time Trial Series results. We started after the run in tide today with a headwind paddle on the way to the turn around buoy and then a rapid run back to the finish line. As it turned out, it was a very nice twilight paddle for all competitors. 4x PBs today with a big congratulations to Kobi Holden earning the big points today with Caiden Everingham, Annie Turner and Steven Bowden getting PBs and logging their second time for... their category this season. 07.01.2022 Today saw our members out on the water early this morning on the glorious Elliott River . For the running of round 6 of the Apsu Nutrition time trial series over the 3 and 4 klm Course, With racing tight over the last 5 rounds it came down to today’s race to decide the winners of both the Men’s and Women’s divisions . No one left anything in the tank with not 1 but 7 x pbs being achieved this morning that’s allowed paddlers to leapfrog the guns and take out the title of Kin...g and Queen of the river and also some of the minor placing’s , With presentations for the Ke Nalu paddles that were up for grabs in a few weeks at our Xmas breakup and Dash for Cash . So a big congratulations to Terry Frampton and Donna Mulvenna accumulating the points needed to take out the series. Well done to all that paddled in the series and to all those that helped make it possible and most of all thanks to all our sponsors as without your help these events wouldn’t be possible.
