16.01.2022 With the current situation and the concerns we all have about keeping our families healthy by isolating ourselves at home, I know I have started looking at my mortgage. The last thing I expected was the situation we all find ourselves now. My thoughts now are about reducing my debts. Its nice that the banks will allow you to defer your payments but lets not kid ourselves. They still want their interest. So once this is over well be paying interest on our interest. I think its time to see what other options are out there. Craig from Crown Money may have that solution.

Your bank account and credit cards for your business should not be used for personal transactions for a couple of reasons: - Reduces the workload which will reduce the cost of someone doing your bookkeeping or if you’re doing it yourself then it will give you more time to spend on the things you love - Accountants and bookkeepers don’t want to know about your personal life spending. 08.01.2022 These last two weeks have been pretty intense. Dealing with businesses that had to close their doors and let staff go has been heartbreaking. Keeping up with the ever evolving coronavirus restrictions and the 3 stage release of stimulus has cause me a few headaches. My family has been affected as I think most families have. Seeing the amount of people standing in line at all the nation wide Centrelink buildings made the situation real. But I dont want this to be a negative p...ost. These last two weeks I have seen the kindness, the caring and the support that employees, employers, landlords and suppliers have shown to each other. Yes, there are the not so supportive people out there but they only enhance the ones that are! There will be an end to this, and that is what gives me hope and the strength to support my family, my friends and my clients. Be thankful for the good things in your day, there will be more to come tomorrow. Love to you all
