We've never seen so much Butter Chicken consumed :) Our staff were all talking about how fabulous the kids were.... 16.01.2022 A quick thank you to all our lovely customers for supporting us through a truly abnormal year. If you'll allow us to self-indulge on a few reflections: We've managed to:... - Set up a 2 mobile food trucks, which we ran for 1 day, then mothballed (until the world becomes a little more 'normal'). Stay tuned :) - Get Heat-at-Home up and running during early Covid restrictions, and subsequently meet a ton of great folks during home delivery. - Purchase and renovate a cafe (totally NOT part of the planning for the year), and have a VERY encouraging 9-week start. Elevenses has been a really fun and unexpected additional string to our bow, and we're loving seeing so many of your handsome faces... - watch catering drop 97% (on or around March 16), then return to almost normal in December (thanks to you lot!) - admire our staff as they developed an enormous number of new skills this year, conquering them with aplomb, and remaining (mostly) on top of the seemingly endless pivots... and no doubt a few other things we've missed. Overall, an exhausting year. But we're so blessed to still all be healthy, and oddly the team has actually grown in number. Here's to 2021. Hopefully a slightly more predictable year :) All the best to you and yours. We trust you get a wonderful, refreshing break, and get to see lots of family and friends. 14.01.2022 A chapter finishes! With some sadness, we announce that our Heat at Home range is coming to an end. There are still a number of dishes available on the website, but once the 70-odd litres are sold, that'll be it.... It's been a wild ride this year, with several business 'pivots' to try to stay 2020-relevant :) The great news is that Corporate Catering is coming back in a big way, and our new little cafe in Collins St is off to a very encouraging start. Sincere thanks to everyone who has supported the Heat at Home initiative. We trust you had some enjoyable meals and snacks. Also a big shout-out to everyone who supported the Pay It 4ward initiative with the Hobart City Mission. Such generosity.
