22.01.2022 Please sign up ASAP... we need as many positive voices at these meetings as possible! Monday 1 April 5:30pm 8pm San Remo Recreation Centre... Tuesday 2 April 1pm 3:30pm San Remo Recreation Centre Tuesday 2 April 5:30pm 8pm San Remo Recreation Centre The workshops will be capped at 50 attendees per session and should you wish to attend these workshops, you will need to visit Council’s webpage at www.basscoast.vic.gov.au/skate and click on the link to make a booking. Only one booking per person can be made across the three sessions. If you have difficulty accessing the website, please contact Bass Coast Shire Council on 1300 226 278 and ask to speak with Greg Polson who can assist in making a booking. The community workshops will enable residents of the Shire to generate ideas of how they would like to see the project develop and work towards a design that suits the location and the needs of the local community. The workshop will involve an independent facilitator and include representatives from Playce, who have been engaged by Council to oversee the design of the project and be the first step in a detailed community consultation plan for this project.

19.01.2022 Disappointed is an understatement! Once again, our council has egg on its face. The most important thing here... We must not loose focus on the fact Council is committed to delivering this project one way or another, and the state government grant is not lost...... We will make this happen!

04.01.2022 We can’t wait for the design consultation to start on the San Remo foreshore project! Did you know it’s way more than just a skatepark? It will incorporate a brand new children’s playground, improved accessibility to our war memorial and plenty of shared pathways and seating so everyone can enjoy the area!... Stay tuned for consultation dates and times so you can give your input!
