12.01.2022 Today is National R U OK? Day. 502ACU proudly supports this important day. This one questions is an important question, it could be enough to save someones life or even enough for them to ask for help This year the theme for R U OK? Day is 'There is more to say after R U Ok?' What do you do if the person you ask says 'No' or starts talking to you about what is going on for them? Sit and have a chat with them and ask or say comments like: 'That's tough, keep talking i'm listen...ing' 'What you're going through isn't easy. It is good we can talk about it' Today if you ask one person 'Are You Ok?' that may be enough for them to open up and ask for help. If you or someone you know needs help the following services are available: Lifeline - 13 11 14, Kids Helpline - 1800 55 1800, Bravehearts - 1800 272 831. R U OK? is an Australian suicide prevention charity. Its mission is to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and to support those struggling with life. #RUOKDay Information about this day and information contained within this post came from https://www.ruok.org.au/ visit this link for further information.
